Next seasons home and away kits

Rumours from Roker Report that the home kit will feature thinner stripes and a fully red back panel.

The away kit is said to be a silver/grey number similar to Real Madrids off a couple of seasons ago.

Personally I'd love us to go thin stripes for one year with red socks and red shorts. New start and something a bit different for a change.

Anyone seen any other rumours or designs going around?

 

No. But i was in the club shop yesterday, they are virtually giving stuff away. Thats a helluva sale going on.

 

Ive heard the new strip has the Championship logo on the sleeve this season.

 

Vicious rumour. I heard it says 'prexit'

 

Cerainly doesn't - that'll be next season - unlike this season where it was the Newcastle shirt which had that logo

 

As for the OP - Sorry @DAPARKERSAFC but I never want red shorts - they've been black my entire life so I want them black - red white and black are the colours for SAFC - call me a traditionalist!

Not keen on the thin stripes either mind - didn't like the 85 cup final shirt - but I'll reserve judgement until I see it

 

If, as has been commented on, we need to re-establish an identity as a team/club, then I don't like the idea of changing our traditional/recognised colouring.

 

I'm not a fan of solid colour back panels on strips so I hope we don't use that. The silver away strip could be nice depending on what colour the trim is.

I don't think we need to change much anyway, there are lots of things to blame for our situation but the strip isn't one of them.

 

Not really a great deal you can do with Red and White stripes.

 

Can't have black panels in the strip, too much like them up the road, dont see what's wrong with the current issue, change for change sake so they can take cash off the fans, the buggers should be giving one full kit away to everyone who takes a Season Card as a gesture of good will but I bet they dont.

A solid colour back panel is gross -the mags looked like cartoon characters with theirs --- - wait on it was perfect

 

Spot on -I think the grandad collar shirt of SKP days has a bit of quality - red and white stripes add prescence.
But no solid coloured back panel -the mags looked ridiculous

 

Of course they did = they play in a barcode!

 

I loved that strip - and the away one

 

The solid back panel is now a feature all striped and hooped teams will have to have, it will be a permanent fixture in out home shirts for the foreseeable.
