I bet the leicester analogy would bring Hughton out in hives. How did this season go for Ranieri?

    Bah!

If Reading go up then a certain ex Norwich striker may be back in the Premier League again. <laugh>

Does anyone have a preference of the four play off sides as to who makes it?
I'm hoping Huddersfield get promoted as from finishing 19th on 51 points last year, to a play off slot this season is remarkable. Full credit to Wagner (and Webber <ok>) for getting this far.
Plus Fulham, Reading and Sheff Weds have all been there recently, so somebody elses's turn to have a crack :emoticon-0173-middl
Well done Burnley for hanging in there for another season, too <applause>

If they're young enough, they're good enough, I always say <applause>

A nice touch by Conte after Chelski's win last night <ok>

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who saw his side move to within three points of winning the title, embraced Agnew at full-time and shook hands with Boro players while also applauding their fans.
"Only in England you can see this support. I've not seen it before," said the Italian, who is managing in his first season in England.

"It's great to see a team fight with all of their strength. They went down and the supporters stayed there. "This must be an example for other countries. For this reason, I felt in my heart I should go and clap the Boro support."

    Listening to talksport drive.

Talking about Boro. The lack of premiership money spent, and going for has been championship type players. Not even giving themselves a chance to compete. From what they say, and the Boro fans are saying.

Thus could be about Norwich. Everything is spot on to our case.

Just seen this article from PD and SW gives his views on Dijks - “He has done well, I don’t think he has done brilliantly,” he said. “You wouldn’t say you have been blown away by him but if it made sense financially then he has done strongly enough and he has proven he can help us at this level. We have a bit of time with Mitchell. We have the option to buy him. “We haven’t agreed personal terms. It is not an easy deal, it is an expensive deal. The benefit is we have a little bit of time so we can see what happens over the next two to four weeks, in terms of the squad and new head coach coming in. Then we will decide if we make that deal happen. “He has enjoyed it here, he is keen to stay but he is also realistic that if a Premier League club come in they can offer him far more. So it is fair to say he is keen to stay, to a point.”

Excerpts from today's offering on MFW from Stewart Lewis - "Russell Martin, Alex Tettey, Graham Dorrans, Cameron Jerome, Steven Naismith, Wes Hoolahan. All have made a contribution, in some cases a massive one; all still have something to offer; all have their own fan clubs. All have a case for being retained – but not all of them will be.
On the other hand – Wes. No-one has enjoyed watching his magic more than I have; his legendary status is ensured and deserved. There are still times when he can turn a game. And yet, his presence would hold back the careers of Pritchard and Maddison. Given the talent of those two, already blossoming in Pritchard’s case, I’m not sure I could justify keeping Wes."
I must admit it's a difficult one and as Dave said on another thread - keep him as long as he becomes third in line after AP and JM!!!!
Read all about it here - http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...art-webber’s-path-including-some-sacred-cows/ Some fo the comments that follow are very good as well.

Yey, more shall we keep Wes talk. First Brady, now Wes, it's like Cromwell all over again! <laugh>

So Dave says keep him third in line behind Pritchard and Maddison. Just how many games have these guys had? Wes has played more games this season than these have in their Norwich careers. I hope they're the future, really I do, and the signs are promising, but let's not write Wes off just yet please.

He'll be here next season, let's hope people are replaced in the areas we really need,

Oh well, Rafa is going to get his 'war chest' according to the BBC Footie Gossip - Newcastle United: Rafael Benitez 'can have every last penny' to build - Mike Ashley
I reckon they'll stay up next season, so I wonder who may be coming down in their place - Wet Sham maybe!!!! :emoticon-0143-smirk

What does it matter? It will always be the riverend to me and no sponsor will change that. It's about time we cashed in on the stadium naming rights too. It's not like we won't all continue to call it Carrow road, so let someone pay to have an unused name. Football sold its soul some time ago, if we can't get mega rich investors, then we must do things like that to maximise every incoming penny.
Hopefully this lot will last a little longer than the coffee bunch!

    Bah!
