1 starts off slow and gets really good, 2 is just brilliant and hopefully 3 will be a great conclusion to the trilogy.

Think my lad's having recurrring nightmares.

His Mum said he woke up crying last night saying there was snakes in his bed n he's just done the same now.

Even when i said there was no snakes he said 'Daddy snakes in my eyes' <laugh>

Bless him. Would love to know what goes on in their heads.

Poor little fella. Hope he's not too upset by them. My little un wakes up in the night talking about vampires and zombies, but she loves them. The other night she woke up and said at the top of her voice 'oooh Dad .. there's a Vampire bat flying around under the covers and he's trying to nibble my toes !' <laugh>

As he woke up from a bad dream and when you comfort him, he just stares straight through you? That's scary, my eldest used to do it regular too

Stan Jr had night terrors for years. His recurring dream seemed to be about being abducted. He'd be in his bed screaming, sometimes even walking into our room shaking with fear, and even when he opened his eyes he'd be in another world and terrified. We worked out the abduction fear as he'd randomly ask whether they'd found April Jones yet. He would have been around 6 when the poor little girl was abducted and a news story he watched clearly impacted him. I also noticed that when we went to the football or cricket he'd grab my hand as soon as we got into a crowd.

We found the best thing to do was just hug him and reassure him that we were with him. He'd not actually wake up and would eventually calm down. Fortunately he never had a recollection of his nightmares the next day.
