I doubt he'd get in the Spurs team mate. He'd be a useful squad player for Spurs or us, nothing more though imo.
Seriously . No way he's going to end up at Soton or any club thats even a similar level to Everton. The reason he's not signing is because he obviously thinks he can do better and wants more than Everton are offering. The only clubs that can offer him that are the top6, not to mention what is going to be a £30m price tag. Soton would be sideways move probably for less money. Reputation is his big selling factor, who can tap into his potential, which manager can push him on. Pep and Jose both have the ego for that. Citeh also will be looking to youth their squad up, as it has aged alot since they last won the league. Could easily make both teams benches
You could be right currently there for sure. Thres only one guy hed displace and i dint tbink he has the discipline to play a true cm
But if no top 6 club come in for him, and he still doesn't sign new contract, Norman wants him out. Be an interesting one to keep an eye on for sure. United need EE's midfielders than can run with the ball but not sure he'd suit Mourinho, think he doesn't offer enough consistency. Wouldn't get in near Chelsea. I think between City and Arsenal, the later could be decent option as their midfield options aren't brilliant.
I wanted to kick off a debate on him as I thought he was on the verge of being something special. No doubt he's gone backwards though. I wonder if Klopp could get the best out of him, there's a player in the somewhere. There's the Liverpool Everton thing of course and that's going to be a factor. If I have to hang my arse out there I'd twist and give him a go, he's the right age at the right price with 1 year left and could add shooting dynamic to our team. Do I think it's a reality? No I don't think the club's would do business and I don't think he'd want it. He's blue and would not want to move. Interesting though, if the was a bid it could get interesting.
His type of player is certainly the midfielder we need. Someone that can pick the ball up in the middle and run with it and beat players. But his form over last 2 years suggests he's too much for of a risk. No chance him coming here, he's a blue and no way Everton would sell and not sure what reaction he'd get here if he signed.
He thinks he's better than he is. No way would he make either of the Manchester teams imo. He thinks he deserves more money than he's being offered, when the reality is he doesn't. Saying that the transfer market is so odd you never know. But I don't see how he'd improve any team above Everton tbh. He might get the cash move he wants to then sit on a bench like Delph (for example). But I just don't see what the hype is about, he's bang average imo.
Definitely wouldn't mind us going all out for Lacazette this summer if we get CL. Quick direct forward than knows how to score goals. Go soend £40m on him
Said a while ago when everyone was banging on about Barkley a couple years back that the boys overrated. Sure he has his moments of magic, is both footed and can dribble with it but i said he's not got the football brain alongside jack wilshit. Both so overrated and with no football brains. Both trying to dribble past players all the time rather than keeping it ticking. He could get up there if coached properly, but i don't think he will reach it. He's not fit enough, doesn't have the footballing intelligence. Will only ever be a solid player with moments of magic.
I will leave the professional hashtagging to you although i dunno who jumped on whos bandwagon when i said stones was ****
Marco Asensio has handed Real Madrid an ultimatum over his future - either player him or he'll join Liverpool. Winger Asensio has struggled for game time at the Bernabeu this season as Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are above them in the peaking order.
I think you lads are prob right here. His first season as luv said he looked potentially very special. Now he just looks a talented player but brainless is one word and andy carroll like almost. Thinking on it..... Barkley v delle alli. Ideal comparison almost? Barkley could have been alli... he still could be but he seem happy to be a bit beefy, play sometimes and not others and get half the goals while doing it. So far alli has been faster, fitter and just more on it all the time... but does stupid things like kicking players too. So... harsh? Yeah but i thought barkley was good enough to be that player... but hes nit delivered himself.
Defoe walks for free because Fat Sam gave him a relegation clause http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39897361
Or he wouldn't sign without one. Defoe handed in a transfer request as a 16yr old at West Ham after they got relegated!
