Clearly the Willian episode still rankles you especially as you paid for his medical. Lukaku is a nice guy and I'm pleased he has improved at Everton but he just isn't a Chelsea player. My guess is Jose will buy to replace Ibra.

Exactly a first touch he hasn't and he doesn't command the front line well enough but I wish him well at United.

I'm hoping we get Morata over Lukaku.

Contes wanted Morata for a long long time.

Lukaku for me just isn't a team player, he's always looking to shoot from whereever. We have enough playmakers, we want someone whos a team player up front

He could go to United, but don't forget it was Maureen who blew him out of Chelsea, as he had him as 3rd choice behind Demba Ba lol

My money is still on him going back to Chelsea.

He's a cracking player, but he's not without fault, and he's better against sides who press forwards and leave space in behind, I think he'll struggle to be as prolific when playing for a side where the opposition tend to sit off every week.

Agree he would be stupid to go to United. However i just don't see him coming to Chelsea.

Our man who buys the players Michael Emanelo wants him and fancies him.

Conte though does not want him and would prefer Morata. I reckon if Conte doesn't get his way, he'd walk

Agreed there's no way Roman is going to piss off Conte after winning the title in his first year.

  9. Not sure that that will be a bar, tbh, Tobias.

At that time, Mourhino had other options. Lukaku has, of course, proven himself, now; plus, Mourhino doesn't have the options that he used to have at Chavs.

He's made up with Mata, after all.

  10. Hey, Foxes! Out of interest, where will you go shopping for new players, in order to re-build your team, after the exodus?

    Divs 1 & 2, and the lesser-known European leagues, I suppose?

I'm not knocking that, as I can well believe that there are some great players knocking about down there.

The good thing with our team is that our spine won't need replacing. Nobody will offer enough for the likes of Vardy, Drinkwater, Ndidi, Wes and Huth to leave. We'll just need to keep an eye on replacing Wes and Huth as Father Time is catching up with them.

I'll imagine that Kasper and Mahrez will be the two we'll part with this summer. Mahrez's replacement is on our bench and there are plenty of solid young keepers knocking about r.e. Kasper.

We could go into Europe again given that we've had wild success with Mahrez, Kante and Ndidi but I imagine we'll look closer to home. I think we'll be in for Jordan Pickford should Kasper announce early that he'll be leaving. We could also look at a keeper like Begovic who wants out of Chelsea.

We've been linked with all three of the young English centre halves that have had good seasons for the lower PL teams (Gibson, Maguire and Keane) and I think we'll end up with at least one of them.

Youri Tielemans and William Carvalho have been rumoured to have caught the eye at West Brom and I'd like us to go for one of those two.

However, if there was one player I'd love us to go for it's Gylfi Sigursdsson. Would fit us absolutely perfectly.

We could offer him more playing time, they can offer him Europa League.

I just hope we're after him.

Well you might have an outside chance on the " Playing time " angle . Last time he played for a " Bigger " club it was the Spurs and it was a nightmare for him . It will still be fresh on his mind if he moves from our " small " club . Good luck , I'd rather see him at Leicester , he really is a " Stick That Stirs the Drink " kinda player

Yes but last time they went on a spending spree and bought loads of players.

I have no doubt that if Sigi moved to everton he'd be a starters. It's not like they are blessed with creative players in their team.

Pretty sure he's gone in the summer regardless of which league we play in Luv . It will be a " Smarter " move this time , with all aspects of his career taken into account ... including his bank account .

I can only really see them going for Sigurdsson if Barkley is sold.
