I did exactly the same with Portsmouth - that was when they were promoted to the PL, back in 2003. I just completely detached myself . The club had achieved what was until then a dream. The FA Cup final win was totally surreal, the relegations were water off a duck's back. Pleased that the club won the League 2 title, making them the 5th club to win all four divisional titles but my feeling for them will never be as intense as they were prior to arrival in the PL.

So, the Swansea Players are covering the entry fee's for their traveling Fans.
    Great gesture.

SAFC have a more practical approach. I've just been and bought tickets for myself and No1 Grandson.
I'm told that the powers that be have designated this game as a 'Category A Game'. It other words top price for top game.
Now correct me if I have misunderstood something, but I believe that we are a relegated Team.
Swansea are currently fourth from bottom and might well join us in The Championship.
    So a 'Top Game?

    OR

Last chance this Season to screw us again.

SAFC seem determined to turn me off as a supporter.
I've been doing it now for over 65 years but whoever is conducting this campaign of disappointing me, I have good news for them

    IT'S STARTING TO WORK.

"I hate Swansea, and the Welsh in general"..................yet you want a lift south after the game on a Swansea coach. I can arrange for you to be picked up, tarred and feathered and have a broomshank shoved further up your back passage than you've ever managed before <ok>

Got a free ticket so that's why I'm going. Plus I've never been to their ground. Apparently pitch side seats too.

Wouldn't you go if it were free? I certainly would. Away days I rarely get to because of work but they are good.

I stand by that, no problem.

You've shown exactly why I dislike the Welsh tbh, you couldn't be more typical ..... you couldn't arrange a date with a sheep at shearing time, no humour and full of empty threats. Despite the fact that your club is paying you I bet you're not even going

I went to our home match with the Southampton coach and have done it loads of times before. I always pay my way which is more than you bunch of spongers can say.

If I choose to go on the Swansea coach I will, you have no say in the matter.

<laugh><laugh> <laugh> This thread is a self pity fest because you travel a few hundred miles to go and watch Premiership football, seeing Chelsea, Spurs, Man U, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal in the process. You should go and have a chat with proper football supporters like those at Hartlepool or Blyth Spartans who will laugh at your pitiful whingeing. No doubt I will hear it even louder tomorrow, because yes, I will be getting up at 3.45am to travel to the **** hole that is Sunderland and I look forward to seeing you try and get on a Swansea coach <laugh>

Wow, quite the hypocrite arent you <laugh>

Trying to claim I'm whinging then doing it yourself.

Claiming to be good supporters then threatening people.

Using the name 'Swansea' that the English gave you because you don't actually speak Welsh,

Very poor behaviour ...... we let you play in the English league then you start getting above yourselves <doh>

Where did I whinge Smuggy? <laugh> Your self pity and hatred don't become a man of your age so your behaviour isn't reasonable, which is the answer to your original post. I await your next whinge - will it be too cold for you tomorrow <laugh>

I can confirm that at present it is not to bad. But an easterly wind is expected, which will whilstle straight up the wear. Certainly not shorts and flip flops.
