Stuff thats actually on the tv channels depends what time and what else is on and if I want to see it as soon as its on (ie Doctor Who or Game of Thrones), otherwise tend to record or download so I can watch it when bugger all else is on. The online stuff, Netflix or Amazon series I watch while in bed on the laptop
Anyone watching Designated Survivor? I started watching it last week and I'm on ep 14 already. I'm hooked
I watched it up until the last available episode but that was donkeys back..then forgot to go back...easily distracted which is why I like to wait until an entire season is there lol
Yeah I was posting about this a few weeks ago, got up to around there and haven't watched anymore Quite decent tv that I did enjoy as a distraction from anything better but a formulaic, middling kinda show ultimately, some good performances too that help move it along and plenty of fit women to look at ... however there's always a sense that they're just making it up as they go along and don't have very strong plot points in the way the best tv shows clearly do in mapping themselves out, this is just always like what's the next thing we can throw at these people, and the next thing, and the next thing
Watching a show on BBC iPlayer called Thirteen ... the whole series is available at the moment It's very good, about a girl who escapes Fritzl-esque / @Nozzer esque basement captivity and the police investigation once she is returned to her family It starts out seemingly pretty straightforward but soon becomes something stranger and more sinister
Watched Rescue Dawn last night on luv's advice and realised half way through I'd seen it before. Big day Friday. Steely Dan / Doobies tickets and Alien Covenant is out
Agree. It's going to be hard to judge the plot until the storyline concludes. It's going to be one of those shows that makes sense when everything is revealed.
On tape #4...... Ooof...talk about permanent stomach knot!...feeling uncomfortable watching this...on many levels...flashbacks to school, guilt at a distinct feeling of voyeurism etc. Confused about the flack it's got ie glamourising suicide...encouraging copycats ....(OK I'm only 4/13) but so far I'd be showing this series to every high school kid in the land...they may still be too young to get it...I'm an old dude been there done that have the regrets of similar various behaviour but some might sink in.... Edit....I'm really hoping it doesn't go silly...
