I've been a Hull City fan for nary a decade but I already know how these things are destined to go. We'll lose a heartbreaker away to Crystal Palace on a stoppage time goal from Fraizer Campbell.
Just another thought for Sunderland V Swansea, with Boro's remaining fixtures Sunderland must see Saturday as a chance to try and not finish bottom? (clutches at straws).
That's my main fear too. I listened to their last home game v Burnley and he seemed to go down in the box about 6 times as normal without getting a penalty so given how keen refs seem to have been to give penalties against us this season at places like West Ham and Soton, you might well be right.
One thing in our favour though is that Palace have been really **** against teams like us near the bottom; lost 0-4 at home to Sunderland, 0-2 to Burnley who were without an away win! They also let Swansea do the double over them..
I'll throw another in the mix... West Brom have an extra days rest before the final game... I'll take anything that gets the job done now..
Spurs also have Leicester away three days before they come to us and have the last game at the current WHL on Sunday against Man United. With that final home game and Chelsea likely to win the league on Friday night, Spurs's final two games seem to have a feel of after the lord mayor's show about them.
We will beat Palace. A draw against Spurs is the best we can hope for. We will need other teams to do us a favour which I believe will be very unlikely.
Palace also have a lot of injuries in defence and just got destroyed 5-0 by Man City. They aren't exactly brimming with confidence. We've had our wake up call, we know we can't just expect results, so the players will be well and truly fired up.
That's not right. 8th can't get a European place. As others have said on here think you need to win both games. Good luck, would rather you lot stay up than Swans
The conundrum of the Tigers at Palace. You are standing at palace where 5 soldiers stay. Each soldier has 5 rooms. In each room there are 5 big tigers. Each big tiger has 5 little tigers. Each tiger has 4 legs. How many legs are there in the palace?
No if United win the EL then we get an extra CL place but lose an EL one. Still only get 7 teams in Europe.
