Only tempoary... waiting for my payrise then will be looking for more set hours. The overtime nice though
The restaurant I worked in doing those shifts was top quality. Full a la carte menu, with a b'tard french head chef who used to bark orders in french to the other chefs. There was no room for sending out anything that didn't meet his exacting standards. Good job too because we were a bunch of piss head stoners
What would I need to do to get artificial grass on top of concrete? My drive and front yard are concrete but I it use the drive bit for parking so could put down some artificial grass for the young uns if its easy
Very nice mate. Lovely to have that on your doorstep. I lived in New York for a short time in the late 90's and rented an apartment in Park Slope that backed on to Prospect park. Absolutely beautiful place with a small zoo and botanical gardens, boating lake and loads of open space. Used to love waking up and going for a cycle round the park before heading into the chaos in Manhattan. These days where I live. I'm surrounded by moorland on one side and open ocean on both other sides.
Not sure you can directly but it might be possible. I dug off the grass (what was left of it!) put in a French drain, edged the flower bed, laid a weed guard, laid a sand screed layer, laid an underlay and then laid the 'lawn'. Screwed down every 50mm all the way round. Was hard work!!
The sea is just down the road. Once I moved down here I knew i'd very likely not move back. Got to look out to sea, makes everything seem less hemmed in.
Got blisters in the palms of my hand! Enjoyed though, beats actual work. Although I wouldn't fancy doing it for a living, too much like proper graft. Weather has been stunning too, which was lucky.
Plenty of times fella. Nothing quite like sitting at the top of that cliff after a surf. Drying off in the sun and smoking a fat doob watching the sun go down. I remember once making a **** off strong joint, having a few puffs and chippin it out for later. When I went to pick it up, it was gone and my dog Archie had eaten it. 20 mins later he was baked and just looking out to sea with the chinky eyes
To be fair it should be an 'interesting' Summer down here. Not sure if that will be good or not though
