Ummmm He had a chance to win Singapore 2008, that was a half chance in actual fact he did win the race because of the whole of Renault's team decided to take cheating to a next level. China 2010 was another one. Made a mistake under braking before the long straight and JB got passed. It seems some people over rate some drivers.
I am sorry but IMO the whole team should take responsibility for that horrible act. The drivers, team staff and mechanics all some how played a part in it.
It was proved just to be 3 people. Lets put your favourite driver in that Renault and you would be defending him. Alonso knew nothing about it.

He would have won that race if he didn't mess up when exiting the pit lane, and have to have a drive through penalty.

I wouldn't get in a tiff. The fact is at the moment Lewis is ahead of Jenson. Yes Jenson would have been ahead of Lewis if it weren't for Great Britain and Germany(which I know where not his faults) but it's not Lewis's fault either. Jenson has driven well, and he has driven better than Lewis this season but over the whole season I think Lewis has the edge.
