Nope, If Swansea beat Sunderland they move level on points with Palace. If we then beat Palace we move within 1 point of Palace.
So could I but we are fighting to stay in the division. After becoming an established Premier League team the owners of WBA may be aiming a little higher. Having been 8th and pushing for 7th they may be a little annoyed the team has collected 2 points and scored two goals in the last two months. With a far worse team Phil Brown's Hull City picked up 2 points and scored 4 goals. You may be right and Pulis is under no pressure and the owners are happy with 11th. I'd find it surprising though.
I think Palace would consider themselves safe if Swansea draw. They'd only need a point against Man U's youth team, and that's assuming Swansea beat West Brom AND we beat Spurs.
Nigel Pearson Our longest unbeaten run away from home ever ( I think.) Maybe he should be assistant manager to Marco
Please stop comparing it to Phil browns team obi it's ridiculous. Pulis has done a magnificent job with. A seriously average team. The table says so. I'm not replying again.
Look after yourself BMB Stay as well as can be Much more important then whether we go down or stay up
I can't see Sunderland winning again , they have been **** all season so not confident they will suddenly put back to back wins in, chances are they will revert to being useless and Swansea will turn them over just like we should have
Palace only need a draw to be safe because then we can't pass them, but if we win they're only a point ahead of us going into the last game. We can't be mathematically relegated before the next game.
Sunderland's season ended on Saturday at our place.. The best I can see is a draw, but strongly fancy Swans to win there..If this is the case Palace will beat us on Sunday, putting us down with one to play. Swansea will beat West Brom by two clear goals. We'll probably draw 0-0 with Spurs who won't turn up. Or if they do, they'll turn us over 3-0
I reckon Sunderland will play with more spirit on Saturday than they did against us. They have to give something back to their fans after such an abysmal season.
I can see any of the scenario's happening as nobody knows and feel there is still a swing to happen somewhere, Crazy to say but I would be a very worried palace fan as if we do beat them (I know a long shot) and Swansea beat Sunderland, then they may need something off Man Utd. We aren't done yet and have no doubt Marco will have made it very clear that Saturday was not good enough and Sunday at Palace is all or nothing! I at the very least expect a response
Never said we could. I think Palace will beat us and I think Swansea will beat Sunderland. Our match with Tottenham won't mean anything.
The bookies have City 1/6 to be relegated. Having said that I must say I'm quite surprised at the degree of pessimism on here. Despite some valid points put forward that relegation is nailed on let's remember anything could happen in these last two games. If you don't have hope, you have nothing.
