I think that Mahrez is a very good player, but I can't see how he fits into Barca's first XI.
Can you see him going there to be a squad player, when he can get first team football at another Champions League club?

Spurs will be seen by Mahrez as a much bigger club than Leicester and a massive step up on his career ladder.

Under Poch, he will know that he will be working with a manager with a track-record in bringing on new talent and getting the best out of players. Plus, I think he'd relish the opportunity to work with team-mates such as Lloris, Kane, Alli, Eriksen, Dembele, Rose, Dier - the list is almost endless.

 

I think he'd be a good shout for us, and I would be surprised if Poch wasn't interested.
