At least it's good to finally win something... Well done to Hull City! Champions of incompetence, heroes of ineptitude! Table Hull City 82 Sunderland 79 West Ham 77 Bournemouth 72 Stoke City 69 Burnley 68 Leicester City 65 Middlesbrough 64 Swansea City 61 Watford 57 Crystal Palace 55 Liverpool 55 West Bromwich Albion 45 Everton 44 Manchester City 37 Southampton 35 Manchester United 33 Tottenham Hotspur 31 Arsenal 30 Chelsea 24
They could have shortened that piece and just scored on the owners. We would be ****ing miles out in front of any premier league club. In fact they could do it for all divisions. You can insert whichever club you believe has the '****est' owners Premier league - HULL CITY TIGERS Championship - League 1 - League 2 -
What a load of bollocks that is One of the best things the club did this season was to sack Phelan , how can that be a negative we would have been down ages ago , as it is against all odds we still have a chance of staying up
Maybe the point is that he was appointed in the first place. The owners really struggled to get a new manager after Bruce left.
Ergo it had to be massive ineptitude to hire him in the first place. There cannot possibly be any situation in which hiring someone and firing them within 3 months cannot be seen as bad management from the board. It's the same for Swansea - sacking Bradley was a brilliant decision, hiring him in the first place was the inept part. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the article, save for we should've pissed it even more if they'd focussed on the off-pitch pre season activity.
Just shows you why we are the position we are. Would be interesting to compare these stats Phelan v Silva. The most annoying are those that should be easily fixed (?). Namely kicking out the ball to the opposition and passing to the opposition in your own half.
Didn't you know that no one is allowed to be critical, even slightly, of anything to do with Hull or its inhabitants?
We actually did quite well on the last one we were on... Final table 2014-15 QPR: 61.5 Burnley: 54 Everton: 49 Leicester: 42 Manchester United: 41.5 Liverpool: 41.5 Crystal Palace: 41 Newcastle: 39 Aston Villa: 37 West Brom: 36 Hull: 32 Sunderland: 31 Tottenham: 30 Stoke City: 26 West Ham: 25 Manchester City: 17 Arsenal: 16.5 Southampton: 16 Swansea: 14 Chelsea: 13.5
The onanists' paper of choice. Thankfully there are fewer onanists than ever and that bufoonish rag is dying on its arse.
