I like Azpi as a player, very good defender, though he's been a RCB this season and even if he was better than Walker at RB, it's certainly not by a large margin. Barca have also been linked to Walker, as have City and Bayern. Right now Walker would be in competition with Moses and while Moses has been great, he's not as good as Walker.
Vertonghen has conceded less goals than Cahill.

As I said to HAIG on the Leicester thread, with all respect, I can't see Spurs paying both a transfer fee and wages we/him will demand.
If he's to leave, I'd expect it to be to a big side

 

He'll get two Europa games as well though .

To be honest I'll be first to admit we were shocking in the CL/ EL this season. Wasn't helped by injuries but nonetheless we were ****ing pony.

I'd be amazed - and pissed - if we perform that badly next season.

Initial post was more tongue-in-cheek, John mate. I can't see us going for Mahrez if truth be told for similar reasons you said of fee/ wages, plus I don't think he'd suit Poch's work ethic in a player.

Last season aside, Mahrez hasn't really done much to convince the footballing world he's worth mega, mega bucks. I'm not sure what you'd define as a big club but if you're thinking Juve/ Barca/ Bayern level then I'd say you massively overrate Mahrez.
