Puma is the absolute worst brand for wide feet by the way. Puma makes shoes for people with feet shaped like pencils

I'll certainly check them out next time, but I don't purchase footware very often. Anything that fits is a plus for me.

Sounds horrible, hopefully she can take him for all his worth when divorces him.

Seems almos pointless hiring a lawyer in that case to be honest, if FBI have caught him red handed.

I'm not a legal expert, but in googling around, claiming "entrapment" is the usual course of action for a defendant that wants to fight the charge. I've no idea if he's going to go that route, but he could try to say that the ad "enticed him" to pursue the girl and if he had never seen the ad he never would have been looking for young girls. He has no prior convictions.

I doubt he'd get away with that argument but it's probably his best option. I don't know what evidence they have besides the emails and the phone calls (and pulling him over en route to the meeting point after staking out outside his house). I don't know if they have any evidence of him previously contacting underage girls.

He could also be trying to get the charge changed so that he has a mandatory 6 years instead of mandatory 10 years.

The lawyers he hired are also running psychological tests, doing polygraph test, etc, to try and get some evidence in his favour. (Obviously they won't submit for evidence anything that damns him further)

Bond hearing was for 10:30am and it's 11:00 here now. Not sure if they normally run on time, or how long they take, but I imagine I'll hear in the next few hours if he got bail.

He was heading there. They set up a monitoring van outside his house the day of the meeting. When he left they called him to ask if he was coming and to describe the vehicle he was going to be arriving in.

When he told them his car after watching his house and seeing him leave, and it matched his car that he described, they pulled him over and arrested him. They didn't wait for him to reach the designated meeting place.

He's fooked, no way the entrapment route will work for him though that is a standard response. Plenty have been put away for a while for talking to decoys online then arranging to meet and ending up caught by ***** hunters who then call the police. If he's got history with this he's even more fooked. Just go on youtube and you can find plenty of vids of stings and the nonce getting arrested and a trip in white, yellow and blue taxi

What a ****ing awful mess It beggars belief. I feel bad for all the people you've mentioned, with one obvious exception and that's the one who needs his ****ing bollocks cutting off.

Apparently, prosecution hasn't really done any investigation beyond the emails and phone calls they recorded. They haven't searched the lap top or phones for more evidence. Prosecution seemed very disorganised according to my in laws.

Defence pointed out no condoms or sex paraphernalia found in car when he was pulled over.

Sister in law spoke in his favour asking for him to be released so she can get information about finances from him and wanted him home for the boys. (She's crazy)

She had a group of people there to support her. (They weren't there to support him). Defense attorney spun it and told judge "look at all the support that showed up to support him".

On his emails to the undercover FBI, he claimed he had been with an 8 year old and a 10 year old. We don't know if that was just a brag or if he really has.

He's allowed to go home (supervised around kids). He's allowed to work. He's only allowed on the internet for work and whilst at work. He has to wear a tracking ankle bracelet and can't leave the state but has relative freedom to move and go places other than that. He's not allowed any access to children that is unmonitored (including his own)... But he can go home... Which seems astonishing to me. The fact my sister in law is letting him.home even more astonishing.

He hasn't told his work why he's been out yet and his kids still don't know where he's been.

He's going home. Not sure for how long. He hasn't been sacked yet because his work doesn't know. The SIL didn't want to tell his company. She wanted him to tell them. Now he gets to. No idea if they will fire him. (I don't even know if they can fire him since he hasn't been tried yet)

Lawyer estimates 6 months until trial at least. No date set yet.

I have no idea if he will kill himself. It's apparently very common for people released on bail with similar charges. I can't imagine that will be good for kids... Although maybe better than dad in jail as *****? If he does kill himself I hope it is in such a way that the family don't have to discover him.

Since they have suicide in their life insurance, killing himself would be the best option all round wouldn't it?
