Good to see Leicester spiralling up to 9th and looking likely to get 8th. <ok>

It was an ill advised thread to start with.

Very good performance, always in control...nice end to the season and hopefully something we can build on next ...although in fairness I think the next few years will be a case of a 3 way title battle between the 2 Manchester clubs and Chelsea... but as we proved last season ...you never know :)

  7. Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, 26, expects the club to honour the agreement they struck last summer and allow him to leave at the end of this season. (Telegraph)

    <laugh>
I bet he's already booked the taxi.

I just knew that this superb thread would run and run!

Riyad Mahrez is a Champions League knock out stages player.

Far too good for any club in England.

  10. Won't lie that I wouldn't mind him at our client, as I think he'd easily make our bench.

<laugh> As AKCJ says, too good for any side in England. Maybe Chelsea that's all. If he leaves it should be for a big club. Spurs wouldn't pay the necessary fees anyway

Happy for Riyad to go ... will cost somebody a lot of money as he still has close to 4 years to go on his current deal ... Demarai Gray is a fabulous talent and will hopefully grab his chance.

If Riyad truly does want Champions League football then unfortunately for Spurs he is unlikelt to end up there ... he had 10 games in the competition with us and I can't see him risking only playing 6 next season and then being tied to a club not in the UCL the following season ...<laugh>

Suspect he will go to Spain or Italy if he moves ...<ok>

<rofl> Yeah because Spurs will pay him £100k per week and whatever Leicester would demand in a transfer fee. You may get Demi Gray who doesn't seem to be able to get into our first team :emoticon-0136-giggl

  16. Possibly, Johnny.

You'd struggle to get Demi Moore, mate.

What part of that do you think is beyond Spurs?

Gray's a very talented youngster. I'd take him. Sissoko swap? <whistle>

Now now don't take it personally <whistle>
It's not Spurs Way basically. That's not a bad thing as we showed last season you don't have to spunk money at it. But can I see Spurs offering 40/50 mill and 100k per week? No absolutely not. You'd need to see to the current crop to make sure they're happy first.
Sissoko absolutely not. Rather play myself
