Mate from university was best man at my wedding. He's lived in Aussie for about 25 years (married to Tom Moody's sister). A few years back, he discovered that his father-in-law had been fiddling with his son (my Godson). That was a terrible, terrible time for him, made worse by the fact that his wife suffers from manic depression. I feel for all concerned in your situation, bar the horrible **** at the centre of it.
I hope it all goes quickly so your family can start to move on from it though that will possibly be quite difficult What did you say the sentence he's looking at is again ??
It feels like you buy a pair every other week I got a new pair on Saturday from Amazon. Red Adidas Gazelle
Might present a problem when playing tennis They are new tennis shoes because my team's matches start this week, good to have a couple of pairs to rotate otherwise they can mess your feet up and wear out quicker, plus one pair is for clay courts and the other 'all court' I got some new shorts as well
The Sister-in-law is bipolar, apparently two kinds of bipolar, forget the terms, one flips from high to low quickly and easily, and another goes through long stages of depression followed by excitability for long stages. She's the latter. I remember back in University when she broke up with her boyfriend (I was friends with the SIL back in Uni... That's how I met my wife). She was an absolute mess for about 3 months (that's longer than she dated him). Wouldn't eat, wouldn't move, wouldn't talk to anyone besides me. Hard to get her to go to class. It went way beyond typical "boo hoo I got dumped". Currently she's been handling everything really well, buy I suspect it's because things haven't sink in yet and she's also got the kids depending on her. I worry about what happens when it does sink in. She's going to be an absolute mess. I haven't mentioned it to the wife to not worry her, but I hope she doesn't kill herself. She's never tried before, but I know specifically they went with a life insurance that pays out even for suicide (they're hard to find) so that must have been a concern for them that in one of her depression states she might do that. I can't think of much worse she would have to deal with.
Last trainers I bought was about 2 years ago. Got a pair of ASICs. Couldn't tell you the model or anything else. They're white. That's all they are to me. White trainers. They're comfortable as long as I don't stand still in them. Walking, running, etc they're find but if I'm standing they make my feet ache.
Serious advice for you. Try a pair of Adidas with Boost in next time you're in the market. Ultra Boost are the ones I would recommend. They are a little pricey but comfy as and imo worth the money. In the States you will have tonnes of models to choose from too, much more than in UK
He's expected to get a 10 year minimum mandatory sentence in a federal prison. (That means no early out for good behaviour) I can't remember how or why... Maybe different charge, but lawyer hopes to get it dropped to 6 years. With 10 being the minimum for this charge I'm not sure how he gets 6, I assume for that they would need a plea deal with a different charge.
I have very wide feet with very high arches and my little toe sits high. Usually shoe shopping for me is limited more by what shoes actually fit rather than what model I want/like. I normally visit two or three stores before I find a shoe that fits. Addidas used to be good for wide feet when I was a kid. Almost all my shoes used to be addidas. Last few decades Addidas has sucked for wide feet/high arches.
