General Election 8th June

I get that, I do.

I just can't fathom why any Scottish voter would back tories though, other than the farmers. It's not even a poll tax thing, its just a - We're miserable dour ****s but come the elections, we're generally quite a pleasant population. For instance I understand why people hate benefit cheats, I can't say I hate them personally, dislike them sure (mostly because of a feckless cousin) but I sure as **** don't agree with the measures introduced to combat it.

Not everyone gets to fall back on school grades. Mines aren't good at all, but I was limited by the school system and only allowed to sit 5 GCSE's and 1 of those was disqualified after my alarm (from exams the previous day, but later in the day, went off - my phone was actually turned OFF) the adjudicator believed me up until he had to "confirm" it with my head teacher. Ended up walking out my geography GSCE after that because I knew the result. My head would've let me sit the entire test then cut me out like a loose turd come marking time or just before time was up. Guy didn't ****ing like me, simple as that. Once expelled me then refused to let me back because I wouldn't look at him. Of course when my maw showed up and he wouldn't look at her, she started waving the walking stick about going ****ing ballistic over how he added 2 weeks to my exclusion yet wouldn't look her in the eye .

Point being you don't put up with people you cant connect to on a human level. My dads about as anti-independence as you get, real believer of alex salmond as president of iScotland type of guy, he would sooner abstain than vote tory though. And that's even after the 12 years in the army with the brainwashed mentality (no offence but it is true, but so is the fact a brainwashed army is much more effective - its part of the package whether anyone likes it or not)

I can't understand those people from the same sort of background who vote tory purposefully, many times to their own detriment. Pud I understand, EDGE I understand (Although I believe him to be a closet SNP/indy voter) and trev, well trevs trev. It's the ****s that manage to swindle people into voting tory that really piss me off. Strong a stable. Coalition of chaos. I've long since stopped voting labour but I still ****ing hate those soundbites. Tories are celebrating at local council results. Most of the turnout was 35% and lower in England. What is there to be happy about that? That only 35% of your community get to choose your local agenda? Bollocks.

TLDR; Democracy is a joke and EDGE votes SNP.

Or move to America where Trump is cutting corp tax from 35% to 15%

I think it was 20% for that year gone. Maybe 19% now. Edge to confirm. Tax free allowance on Dividends is only 2k I think

 

Every country should have a leader like Trump to get the economy going. The USA is going to go through a massive economical boom in the next few years. Now is the time to buy American property, that is a certainty

 

I'm voting Lib Dems this election. I want us to stay in the single market and the incumbent SNP MP is a ****er and there is a good chance that the Lib Dems can unseat the guy.

I don't belong to any one party, I have voted for Labour, Conservative and SNP in the past. I vote for whoever I think will do the best job for me.

I couldn't vote Labour as they are a shambles on all levels, I don't like how May and Hammond were pro-EU and suddenly, when 1/3 of UK residents voted to leave, they are now anti-EU and that 'the British people' have spoken.

I will not vote SNP as their record in Government is woeful and have failed on every devolved issue yet snipe on about Westminster being to blame. They are enemies of democracy and deserve a bloody nose for that alone but the SNP fanatics don't care about their record and only want separation at all costs.

My name was published on the BNP members list. Got my windows egged for it

 

I've voted Labour , Lib Dem , Tory , Green and for an independent ...!depending on the election (local , Scottish or ge).

Typically green or lib dem recently in local and last couple of Scottish due to the voting system ...and the fact Labour in Scotland are an even bigger shambles than its Westminster parent .
