I hope all the seats are stencil painted with some kind of numbering before then, so that if some utter vermin try to sell their seats on ebay etc, they can be publicly shamed.
IF...considering some seem to buy season tickets simply to sell the seats on stubhub for a profit I give a day max before they are being sold.
Sky Andrew has been whinging on TalkBALLS about how his client, Judas Iscariot, was snubbed by Spurs when they did not invite him to The Lane's farewell. I'd have thought it would be second nature to the pair of them to ignore our offers to feather their nests elsewhere, so we just saved ourselves the effort.
There is a staggering lack of self awareness being displayed by Campbell...the idea that he would EVER be invited to WHL on any occasion, let alone one as important as this is a farce. No other player in the 135 year history of our club has behaved so badly to the club. For the press to act surprised is just as bad. It says everything about him that as brilliant a player as he was he is not regarded as legend at any of his clubs...mainly for the way he leftthem all. Seem to remember Wenger saying he was surprised to find out Portsmouth was in England as Campbell was given a free transfer from the goons after he verbally told them he was going abroad. Seem to also remember him being one of a few players who took all his owed money from Portsmouth while they were not payi g their "normal" staff. No wonder the greedy souless (see what I did there) twat wants to be a Tory MP.
Why would Campbell want to be at that game? What sort of reception does he think he'd get? It's just another attempt to get his name in the press, as he's missing the spotlight. He knows why he's not invited, but he's just trying to manipulate the situation to his own benefit. Plus ça change...
Has Campbell actually said anything, or is the equally loathsome Sky Andrew playing a game of his own.
There's a video on our Facebook page where Jermaine Defoe talks of the time he snuck onto the WHL pitch when he was ten.
I am so looking forward to taking my youngest on Sunday. Feel very very lucky to have got a ticket for me and my youngest daughter and would not want such an important occassion poisoned by his odious presence.
Have a great day, mate. I'd love to be there myself, but I ain't paying the exorbitant prices being asked for tickets.
I ain't trying to talk myself up but if we couldn't go for some reason I would offer them at cost price ... would feel like a animal ripping off a fellow spur.
Which makes you a gentleman and human being. I was given an FA Cup final ticket in '81 for nothing by a bloke at school. He wouldn't take a penny for it. Great bloke!
. Fair play to you and I believe you. I know of a season ticket holder who has sold his seat for £450.
