A lot of Spurs fans wont want to hear it, but you are right.
I said one of the better things going for them this time around is that some of their best players are English (Kane, Walker and Delle) so they are less likely to piss off abroad like Bale and Modric did. English players tend not to stray too far from the PL.
But Eriksen for sure wont be around for long.
And you just know it wont be long before the two Manc clubs start turning Kane and Delle's heads with bumper wage offers.

And who could blame them? I'm sure we'd all sod off if offered double or treble our current money. I'm amazed it didn't happen last summer, to be honest. Football has changed a lot since Chelsea and Man City came in with pots of cash and unfortunately everyone else has to start paying similar wages to them if they want to attract and keep the best talent. There's no going back to the way it was.

And their academy has been very good too (pity that they have never been
able to retain many of them long-term as a group of seniors) .

    1. Nope, doesn't answer the question.

    2. Won as much as when Sugar owned Spurs.
Did Sugar make profit a priority (if so, you know what question is coming ... ) ??

I dont think you have to worry about Kane going anywhere this summer.
Delle is another matter, he comes across far more mercenary than Harry.
Eriksen also will be subjected to big offers from clubs like Barca, Real and Bayern Munich.

Am pretty sure the bulk of your squad will stay this season because Spurs are improving every year (3rd, then 2nd), but I think unless Spurs kick on next season and actually win something, you will probably see a lot of your best players seeking moves.
The issue there is, you are at Wembley next season, so I just cannot see you winning the league away from WHL.
You effectively have 38 away games next season.
I think summer 2018 is when your squad will be dismantled.
I predict Spurs to finish 4th or 5th next season, depending on who is signed by Chelsea, Man United, City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Spurs just dont have the financial clout to compete with the rest of the top 6. But I think Loyalty will buy you one more season with Delle, Eriksen and co.
But whilst at Wembley.....just cannot see it.

Still doesn't show how ENIC are/were "putting profit as priority" .

    "Sugar made around 46.9 million"

    1. From what ?? Share dividends from his time as director of THFC ??
    2. Still doesn't show how ENIC are/were "putting profit as priority" .

Are you going to show us the method by which we determine any
business are/were "putting profit as priority" , or shall we just mark this
one as another Ginger tiddler gobshite failure ??

There has been year on year improvement, a new training ground and a new stadium to come. ENIC are investing in the future of the club so they'll be competitive for decades to come, in a sustainable way.

Where would Chelsea now be without Abramovich's money? They basically won the football equivalent of the Euromillions jackpot, i.e. they got lucky. He originally wanted to buy Spurs but ENIC wouldn't sell so how about being less of a pompous prick for a change?

I guess the "proof" was written in magic fairy dust font that doesn't render
on my web browser. Shame, as I was looking forward to seeing a method
presented that means one can see how any business are/were
    "putting profit as priority" .

This is what Ranieri asked for last summer, but that didn't stop Kante moving to Chelsea, not saying it will happen to spurs, but it only takes 1 linchpin to take a big money move away for it all to go south, hope they have some solid contract with no release clauses.
