We will win because its part of the PL's contract with Sky to ensure that interest remains until the last match of the season. Our lords and masters at Osterley require this in order to generate advertising and betting revenues to cover the cost of their contract. This is also why we lost against Sunderland.
We'll beat Spurs...Levy will want City to remain in the PL so that he can continue to pass on their cast-off players at over-inflated prices. He'll sort it.
Bit harsh. We sold Livermore for profit, Huddlestone was only £5m, Dawson was only about £3m. Mason was starting to look the part until his horrific injury.
If he does play again I suspect him and Henricksen (sp, can't be arsed) could both be integral next season. Nobody will buy either so they will still be here.
MS could do with sticking with us if we do drop into the championship. learn about that league. but we are staying up, so.
I think it would be a good career move to be honest. He could do with curbing this slight 'jumps ship' reputation he has. Still don't think he will though.
We cannot go gung-ho against palace and we certainly can't play 4-4-2. They have rapid counter attacking capability and I think the best way to get a win is to sit deep and pack the midfield, and have Grosicki and Markovic attack on the counter. I'd also leave Niasse on the bench and bring him on mid-way through the second half. Jak Elmo Nokia Harry Robertson Marko Clucas Huddlestone Grosicki Evandro Hernandez
I agree, he's looked off the pace. It's a big ask to get in the swing of a relegation battle after an injury.
Nobody is but it's Hobson's choice really. Thought he looked most likely to score against Sunderland.
I'd start Henriksen ahead of Evandro. I suspect Silva will think differently. Definitely not two up front though. That was not a success.
While i think he has the potential to be a manager at the top of the game Managing inter for example is a whole diff kettle of fish to olympiakos..
Cue me to bite! The thing with Hernandez is that he needs a consistent runs of games, he's that type of player. The 10 mins off the bench here and there is no use for him. I was sitting behind the goal on Saturday and how Pickford keeps that near post shot out is beyond me. He scores that, and he is a hero. He also had a couple of other good attempts. As a team, we can't afford a striker that is going to score every or every other game unless we unearth a gem from somewhere. Hernandez's build up play has been brilliant at times too, without him there's a few goals that wouldn't have been scored and some important points lost (Liverpool for a start). Not sure if you read my stats from the other day, but I'll bore you with them again. With Hernandez starting, we've scored 25 points, used sub 5 points and not featured 4 points. So that's an average of 1.25 points with Hernandez featuring and 0.33 without him anywhere near. Coincidence? I'll let you decide.
