Suppose it's when an agents fee looks more like 3rd party ownership...is there a UEFA stance on this % wise in regards to total fee paid by club? If not then it's just an arbitrary judgement by UEFA isn't it?

Either way I think we may see a % cap on agents fees of the total transfer fee very soon.

 

It was in the papers for weeks and weeks that Pogba had a clause in his contract that meant his agent got £30m when he was sold on, that's why the transfer took so long.
Juve wanted us to pay it, we said you signed the contract, you pay it.
The way I remember it they wanted us to pay £105m to cover the cost but we held at £89m so they had to pay it.

To be fair if you take away the agents fee for Pogba, it gives a bit more realistic valuation of him.

 

Yeah mate that's what I meant...it's clearly a way to circumvent the 3rd party ownership but if UEFA didn't anticipate this type of loophole or sidestep then nothing wrong has been committed..

Your reference to 3rd party ownership is very valid in this situation.
You are either right or some solicitors/advisors didn't do their job very well when the Juve contract was agreed. Surely it is up to the agent to negotiate his own fee at time of sale not have it written into the players contract.
Pogba and Juve need to look at who checks these things.

 

£40m to make a phone call to united and say how mch you gonna pay? Make another phone call to Pogba to say, how much do you want? Then wait till meet half way.
