    I used to watch BB King's performances, when I was a kid. I love his staccato phrasing. He always reminded me of a horn player.

    I can't say that either Green or Waters were real influences on me, although I certainly listened a lot to their stuff, and appreciated their playing.

    I have never been a great fan of Hank Marvin, but do appreciate that he was an influence on players who did influence me, so I will never diss him.

    I came to the great blues players via people like Page, Clapton, and even Gary Moore.

    You'll find all those guys have been influenced by Peter Green. I know Gary Moore believed he was one of the all time greats.

    I'm obviously older than you. All guitarists back then were influenced to some extent by Marvin.
