It's still technically possible that Palace go down and both us and Swansea stay up.

    Not ****ing happening though.

I get what you're saying and I think Silva is brilliant too. But as someone else said we didn't play the top clubs at home.
That would have dented his record.
I would think with management the longer your at it the worse your record gets.

I disagree, I think with a pre-season and time to select proper targets (rather than trying to cobble something together in a couple of weeks), he'd have done even better, I suspect there's plenty of clubs out there who'll see him as someone who's likely to at least get them in the top ten.

    Hope:
    Sunderland v Swansea - Draw
Palace v City - Away Win
Swansea v West Brom - Home Win
City v Spurs - Home win
Man Utd - Crystal Palace - Home win

Finish 16th and Palace go down.

    Expectation:
Sunderland v Swansea - Away Win
    Palace v City - Draw
Swansea v West Brom - Draw
    City v Spurs - Draw

Pretty much down after Sunday barring a massive goal swing on the final day leading to a drab 0-0 draw with spurs.

Which players are likely to leave if City do go down?

    Niasse
    Omar Elabdellaoui
    N'Diaye
    Grosiki
    Markovic
    Ranocchia

Plus Maguire, Robertson likely to go?

Yep, at a minimum. Think someone may take a punt on Clucas too.

Add Mbokani to the returning loanees list.

Potentially, you can add Hernandez, Jakupovic, Dawson, McGregor and Huddlestone to the list (all in their last year).

Maloney, Bruce and Lenihan will also be released.

Even if we do get relegated? You would think that they would be useful squad players in the Championship? Jakupovic would stay, and maybe Dawson as cannot see Premiership teams coming in for them

Dawson is more likely to stay than the others, I think Jakupovic has attracted plenty of attention and will interest other clubs.

Bruce has effectively gone already, Lenihan hasn't played for two years and though I think he's a decent player, I think he'll go and there's a chance with Maloney, but only 50/50.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned on here, but my biggest fear is it we go down , that we will turn into another Blackburn/Blackpool, which after what we've achieved in the last 15 years or so would be something of a tragedy and an insult to all who love and care about the club, and all because of the ego's of certain person's( cant bring myself to mention they name's) what is more galling than anything is the thought of what might have been,if we had a more stable regime at the helm.

City will beat Palace on Sunday.

Seen 11 defeats away and 1 draw so far so this is our nailed on due win

What happens after that who knows

Not worried if we go down

Lots of good yorkshire derbys if we do

As for manager and players next season who knows. ?

    Marco is a decent Manager

But his away record is not so good .

    Roll on Sunday

I would go further and say his away record is pretty hopeless. Is it currently 2 points from 9 games in the PL since he arrived?

What would you say if we had a manager who had the team in 8th place and on 43 points two months before the season ended but finished 10th with 45 points?

Pulis' next match is against a Chelsea side needing one win to become Champions. I'd say given his recent performances he needs something from his last two matches. Hopefully that will be against Swansea City.

I'd say he deserves the freedom of the city with that squad. After beating Arsenal and the drawing with Man U I expect the team were shot. As I expect he used very few players.

I think that's the second most likely outcome, Hull City being relegated is the most likely.

I believe if we got to the final weekend with it in our hands we would beat Spurs , I just think the problem lies within the first part of that

Same for Phil Brown? He beat Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham in our first season in the Premier League. His record in the last two months was similar to Pulis'. Phil Brown, Hull City's greatest manager?
