Good Morning Everyone, If Monk stays on as Manager, his first priority will be the permanent signing of Kyle Bartley. The 25 year old has been on a season long loan at Elland Road, but is due to go back to his parent club Swansea to see out the remaining year of his contract. Monk is due to sit down with Radrizzani in the coming days to find out if the Italian's ideas were were “aligned with myself” Asked if he wanted to re-sign the 25-year-old, Monk said: “Of course. Kyle’s been tremendous this season “Obviously I’ve got experience with Kyle and I know him very well, but he’d be the first to tell you that this has been by far his best season and by far his best progression as a footballer – the best football he’s ever played.” “He’s come on leaps and bounds, on and off the pitch,” Monk said. “There’s been improvement from everyone here and that’s a big stepping stone. It was important the club had that.” We've got a message from Sacko... please log in to view this image Simon Grayson has cut his hair off for Charity. Thank god for that... Morning Elland and all. Hope the Monk Rad stuff is sorted this week. Don't like reading about players unsure of where they stand. Bartley and Sackho prime examples. Everyone needs their plans sorting, incl diet sheets for the players etc. Hopefully, despite his lack of footie knowledge will at least realise that. If he is to dispense with Monk and the back room team, god knows how long it'll be before we have a new management team in place. Seems certain Monks not staying without proper backing and rightly so
Good morning everybodies peeps.today we have something unusual in the sky................a cloud. Nothing of interest about leeds so far .the crocodile has had brealfast and is inspecting the insides of her eyelids once more.i
We definitely need a planned pre-season with a full squad before the beginning of August. Bartley is a key signing, Sakho I am not convinced about. If he is free its interesting as he has his moments. I am sure he will settle in further to the championship but I wouldn't loose sleep if he went elsewhere. IF Rad is serious he will tie most things by the end of may. ie buy the club, ground, sign up Bartley, extend wood (probably be a by product of the combination of the 3!!) and a couple of new signings.!!
Morning Eire, all the reports I have come across say he deal is in its final stages. Suppose Monk needs to know where he stands before he can give his keep / wish list
Morning Simon, we better have learned by our mistake at the beginning of last season / pre-season. Sacko wouldn't be free. Didn't his parent club put some ridiculous reserve on him?

I never want to see Sacko in a Leeds shirt again, we need to make progress and Sacko doesn't offer that, I prefer Dallas over Sacko. If we wish to play Sacko we might as well have kept Aidy White.
On another note... All the gutter press are stating Monk is going to be offered a 5 year contract. Considering how easily managers can walk away from such things I hope it isn't true...
You won't be saying that when he has us in the champions league in three years and Madrid are chasing him
All club contracts only work one way. Players, coaches, managers they all manage to get away when it suits them.
I expect a deal on paper is agreed fairly fast, so that Monk & his team can get away on holiday. Rad and his team will have agreed some details on squad so that any of the existing loan players can also either accept a full deal or not before they too can get away on holiday. Hopefully when Monk gets back the signature sorted and a wish list of players who are available and who we might like to chase. I expect a rolling 24 month contract at the most as we wont be signing a 5 year deal or anything like it
