Not sure what everyone is arguing about on here... BUT.... there are riots in Swansea every friday night and whenever there are cheap booze nights for the students. In a city that whose urban planning was dictated by the luftwaffe it just goes unnoticed.

Bring back the Mumbles Mile I say :-)

as it happens most of the south Wales coast was redesgined by the luftwaffe but i agree with tthe Mumbles mile even if its just to keep students out of the city centre

Big difference,, we get called Bluetarts, Blueturds etc. banter although it can get heated, I am actually aware that not all Swansea fans have gypsy heritage, and they don't live in caravans, funnily enough I have friends in Swansea, and some gypsy friends as well, I'll call them gypos, or jacks, it's all very much tongue in cheek, if it really offended them, and they asked me to stop for a good reason, well I would, I live in a multi-racial city, and have friends and accquaintances of lots of different races, colours and creeds, it goes with the territory in Cardiff, I spent a lot of my formative years in the docks area of Cardiff, and went to Fitzalan school, colour race or creed just didn't come into it.

Whereas wretch thinks it's funny, more to be pitied than scorned, I'v offered to meet him for a civilised discussion over a drink to resolve this, NOT for a punch up, but he doesn't have the bottle for it.

A lot of people are getting very fed up with this now, and I am quite prepared to let this go, but if he makes further crass Jewish remarks, well I will fight my corner.
 
I can confirm some of Prophs post above. I grew up in the same area and also went to the same High School (mid to late 70's) and the whole race thing was never an issue in either case. Probably the opposite (if that makes sense)

Banter should be just that but I, like I'm sure a lot of us, get pissed off when it descends to personal insults. We're all entitled to say what we like, thats the beauty of this particular forum, but some should really take a good look at themselves (in general I mean, not anyone specifically)

Although, having said that... :D
