Gooch too. Then the likes of Greenwood, the Robsons(3 of them), Brady, Ledger, Beadling, Asoro and Maja should all be on the fringes if none go out on loan

15 down, 25 more players to go to fill the required 40 man squad. <laugh>

From Saturdays team I'd have Jones, I think he'd do OK in the Championship, N'Dong, and Vic if he'll stay plus, those already mentioned that gives us another three, I've also got a sneaky feeling Defoe will stay if he gets the right response from the England set up.
Still a long way to go to gather together a squad well enough equipped for a grueling season ahead.
Although I've high hopes for the U 23's you can't play more than three/four per game in what will be a more physical league IMO.

I'd be gutted if we let N'Dong go, personally. Think he could become a very very good player with a bit more experience - a year in the championship will do him good

They say in the echo that they might build the team around Ndong, I would like him to stay but doubt he will and Moyes saying Pickford being first choice goalie !, Short will sell him I am afraid. And he goes on about they needed to win for the fans hehe( they were playing for their careers mate) too late we should have started that against Stoke, just go will you and I will renew my season card.

I dont know mind. I think he will still be there, and be a class act in that league.

Get big Vic on a contract, he'll do a job on championship defenders.

I think we'll have Ndong next season, we paid a lot of money for him and I don't think he's been eye catching enough for any sufficiently tempting profitable bids to come in.

I expect him to stay and to have a great season.

We need pace - it scares defenders ****less at that level, just look at Gayle for them lot up the road.

I'd like to see us go for Assombalonga from Forest, been linked with him before and would be surprised if he cost a fortune.

If Anichebe is our number 1 striker next year I'd be worried in all honesty.

Its about his fitness. If he can get a long run, he should eat that league. But...wel you know the rest.

He's called Britt, that should do?

We've been linked with him before recently so might well be on the radar. Was watching the Forest game on Sunday and he was a real handful. Could have had 4/5.

@Tel as an aggressively neutral neutral what's your take on Ndong, do you rate him?

Abrahams at Bristol city on loan from chelsea 20+ goals this season would only need to pay his wages as Chelsea won't sell so him and Britt up top

    Me aggressive? Mate.

Seen him just a few times mate but didn't see anything special until we played you at SoL, his graft that day was phenomenal and you could see why the money was paid. Not sure how often he has/will produce that sort of performance but if its regular then hopefully you've got a good one on your hands.

Cairney at Fulham. Never heard of him, but the mags are rating him as the best player they played against.

    Anyone?
