He sweeps the drive-thru. Nobody asks him to. He doesn't actually work there. He just insists it be done.
Yeah Those prices soon add up Actually I occasionally go to Mia Casa in Anlaby. It isn't fantastic, but it's great value. 5 tapas for £14 I think. Whack a flatbread on the side and it's enough for 2 for £20 (plus beer of course)
I love Greek restaurants. There's an excellent one in Stockton-on-Tees. For when we next play Boro in 2022.
1,500 people register interest for just 101 new homes in Humber Street Hull http://humberbusiness.com/news/1-500-people-register-interest-for-just/story-5662-detail/story
Wouldn't mind betting a majority are buy-to-letters. I'd also put money on there being a Tesco Metro or similar there soon.
I don't think they (Beal/Wykeland) will allow them to be sold as investment properties. The other properties they have renovated on Humber Street you had to either work in the area or have lived in Hull for so long (I can't remember exactly what the requirements were). The whole concept is to create a community on there which should encourage more business to the fruit market area. I'm not certain how they will make sure they are not used for buy to lets as I guess it's impossible to fully enforce, but Beal and Wykeland are 2 good companies and will make a good job of it.
I'm not sure what retail there is in the new development, but on Humber Street all the leases prevent anyone with over five branches from having a unit.
After visiting Ambiente on Friday can confirm what most people have said. Food was decent, not top drawer but better than average. Was expensive (6 dishes, 2 puddings, 2 drinks was £60), but I guess you do pay a premium for tapas. Can't say I'll be rushing back but wouldn't not go again.
The artists impression had a Deli in the main retail unit, I think the aim was for it to also operate as a coffee shop in one of the recreated squares... please log in to view this image
I think a lot of the benefits for buy to let have disappeared this year. You get whacked for tax a lot now.
