Blowing well with showers here. Good excuse to stay in. Not sure that now we are getting towards the end of the season if all this tension is good for me. Better check the blood pressure.
Did anyone see the Joshua v Klitschko fight? What a great win that was for British boxing, and best fight I´ve seen since the Whyte v Chistora fight. Tonight there is a great on one here between two Méxican boxers. Alvarez (Canelo) Vs Julio Chavez´s son. Should be a goodun, Mrs is preparing some food and drinks for it later as friends come over soon. I hope Canelo wins but either way a Mexican winner is guaranteed, so party time here!
Morning all from an overcast rural France. Another public holiday today and great goings on in Paris and around the country. Of course in such isolated parts life goes on as normal with the gardeners out doing their bit for a colourful floral picture in the window boxes or containers.
Good day all.... back from a long w/e en France Major event this time was the junction where the outside electricity feed to the house shorted out and caught fire due to water ingress. Three hours and two EDF emergency units later normal service was returned. Well the junction was probs around 50 years old....
Morning all, a bright sunny day ahead. Lots to do before I head south at the end of the week. Mme has her birthday today, so doing my best to be nice to her. I even remembered to get her a card. She had her present a couple of weeks ago when she chose something she really wanted, so that saved me the problem of what to get her.
I will pass the message on. Not Corsica this year, but Provence and the Cote d'Azur. Staying up in the hills, but within easy reach of the coast.
