I see that Smokethedeadbadger has seen a bandwagon, rolling past, and as usual jumped on it. Awwwww bless. Take my advice though, old boy, stay off the racing threads (for which you clearly have no understand...hence your infamous Mr Henderson / Sprinter Sacre rant) and stick to your ‘camp’ Boxing one.

I don't dislike either of them. Just find their endless praising of each other tiresome to say the least.

You'll have to enlighten me? I'm a big Sprinter fan. Was chuffed to bits when he came back to somewhere near his best to win again at cheltenham

I don’t like a chunky carrot, unfortunately. Clad me in irons if you wish. But they don’t suit my palate.

I know so am I. All in good fun apart from one comment said by a charmless, and quite frankly offensive, individual – hence my first response on this thread.

Cosmeapolitan just a bit high in the handicap I’m afraid. Needs to come down a few pounds to be competitive again. Connections must be in a quandary over what to do with him – he’s not favoured in the NH sphere as he’s no longer a novice but is very, very inexperienced.

Charmless and offensive?! Really so your abuse towards Heis all in good fun was it? I just can't stand fake people. Forums, social media whatever the platform just be yourself otherwise what's the point. I understand it's nice and easy to hide behind a keyboard but why bother

You are again doing your trademark piece of jumping on a bandwagon. I'd love to know what this 'abuse' was. I really, really would!

So you think I should be pleasant towards someone who (i) repeatedly threatened to inflict physical violence on me, and (ii) sent unsolicited topless pictures of himself to me (and 2 others as well). As I said at the time I’ve been on this forum 6 years and in all that time have never previously, for one second, even considered ‘blocking’ someone. Re point (ii) his behaviour was so outrageous I even had to threaten him with the Police if he did it again. Please, please, please though let’s not go down the road of talking about him again.

I'm not jumping on any bandwagon. Obviously the posts that were on the public forum were clear for all to see. That's all myself and anyone can go on surely?

Obviously I wasn't aware of the other stuff that you have posted above and no I don't for one second think that's acceptable behaviour and I am sorry you had to suffer that I genuinely am.

I'm not wanting to or trying to get into an argument. I have my issues with how you post and how you speak to people, not everyone can like everybody else it'd be a pretty boring world if that was the case. You clearly find me charmless, offensive and anti Nicky Henderson, I'm actually only two of those things!

I don’t think you are charmless or offensive or anti-Henderson…well perhaps the latter (a bit) but I’m sorry too for flying off the handle a bit after reading your first post.

One bit of good news, people, is that Who Dares Wins has just scraped into the final stage Chester Cup field (number 15 of 17). Tom Marquand rides for the Ponsonby/King axis.

I've thrown a sick-day today with a mind-bogglingly sore throat. If I were a steeplechaser I'd be running a good 2 stone below my official rating.

Lunch TBD at this stage. There is some of last night's lasagne in the fridge (topped with the traditional mozzarella and - with my own added twist - Red Leicester. A "top table" culinary tip if ever there was one) but the kids will be wanting that after school and it ain't worth the grief of eating it before they get home.

Funny thing is, I find a nice cold beer quite soothing for a sore throat <cheers>

I appreciate that I'm new around these parts, but while I'm here, may I request that nobody threatens me with violence. I also would not appreciate any of you elderly, fat hairy sods sending topless pictures of yourself to me.

If you are a lady, clearly this message does not apply. Feel free to send topless shots.

If you ever get a PM from a chap called DanBoro / Heisenburg / whatever he’s calling himself this week (delete as appropriate) my best advice would be not to open it and delete it with immediate effect.

That sort of behaviour might be allowed in the barracks, it might be allowed in the Sergeant’s Mess, it might be allowed in the back room of the ‘Old Comrades Club’. But it certainly isn’t allowed in the real world. Dirty boy.

    Elderly, fat and hairy ?
No, I don't think I fit any of those categories.

    Fruit Salad 8/10, strangely satisfying.

    I'm feeling a little concerned.
    And left out.
And quite bad for taking advantage of a nearly empty office to submit this post. )

Ahh the Sergeant's Mess, now that brings back a memory or two.
