Have to say that I agree. You know what you'll get from him. We're playing him out of position but for half a season he was lauded for his performances. He's probably been found out a little since and targeted and everyone knows that he will come inside to cross......but he still churns out reasonable performances. A solid pro imo.....though not sure where he fits in Klopp's team once we buy a proper LB.
Its be nice if just once someone like coutinho or firmino would run towards him when the ball goes his way as rhe lad had NO options and has had no option to pass to but back for weeks. You just watch. Neither full back gets any sorr of support or anyone running for a short pass in channels.. they get savaged for back passing but i think they have just developed a habit now
One thing is becoming increasingly evident: LFC, the mancs and Arsenal are all poor. And if you look at the football they have played recently none really deserve to play in the champions League. LFC: pedestrian, no penetration against a defensive team at home. No plan B The mancs: completely defensive, park the bus team, boring, playing for a point all the time and cannot score. Arsenal: poor away performances, weak mentally, easily physically bullied. From the two matches today, one would be hard pushed to say that we were watching teams in the top 6, fighting to get a CL place.
I'm guessing you haven't watched us play against teams that sit deep against us and allow us possession. And your comments on La Liga and Buli are ridiculous and dismissive.
Keep yer knickers on, you might catch cold! I'm not saying he hasn't done a good job. What I am saying is we need players at the height of their playing careers not the end of it and he's not it; we still do, and he would have festered on the bench at City, anyway. He missed one penalty and it's sod's law it had to be yesterday. He doesn't have anything to apologise for.
We're crawling towards the line....as are the others. It's painful to watch tbh But we are leading the crawl
It's understandable. Who hasn't been disappointed at our failures this season? I still say that if Klopp gets this lot into CL by spending -13m, then he's a miracle worker. If he doesn't then his ego got the best of him by thinking he could do it with such a thin squad and not adding to it. Fine lines....
yeah but since mane went down we've been killing time til the transfer window opens. Since january with no cups to win we have been on the long slow run in. Seriously... as much as the"wums" like to bait Utd have won one cup and are on the brink of winning a major one. It mourinho delivers two pots and CL won't everyone call this a huge success
He'll strangle the death out of the Europa final to win it. Ugly football but bloody effective at winning things....and you know they'll spend massively. 5 English teams in the CL might be interesting though. All big teams too. Perhaps English footballs dominance of the competition will return.
yes but in the main how can you criticise success when you yourself have not had any. You can only speak as a fan of football not compare his style to your own
I'm not criticising his success. I don't like how he gets it but would I swap our positions now if we also had to adopt his tactics? Too f#cking right I would.

Possibly the worst performance all season. That goalie **** should have been booked for intimidating Milner.
Southampton can do is a turn midweek. Spurs likewise at the weekend. Hope it doesn't come down to having to beat Boro at home tbh.
No offence to the Smoggies, but I do hope they're relegated by then. Even then, they may want to put on a show for their fans
