I said we were on for 2nd, which we were.

And I said we would be favourites if we won today. Right again.

Statements made in the past don't necessarily still apply in the future. Shocker.

Surprised you don't understand this concept when you were supposed to be spending £100m then you were supposed to be challenging for top 4 then you were supposed to be going to Wembley then you were supposed to be aiming to finish above Arsenal and Man Utd...

I just think we are playing awful not that they are doing well.

    Palace were awful against us.

It was Lovren gambling after an injury stoppage and can letting benteke have free header.

    Simple.

Same with Bournemouth. Complete **** late goal from Klavan ****ology.

Now Southampton who did nothing at all and saved pen plus late header

Thing that winds me up most is that we have played the same side 4 games in a row and had pretty much the same performances all 4 times, except with the odd bit of skill to win 2 of those games.

What i mean is that we play it into Origi's feet, like we expect him to be Drogba. He obviously isnt so has been completely ineffective. We had the opportunity for once to give him a strike partner today to give him more chance of doing what he does best - playing off the shoulder - but we choose to play the exact same way against a side that is well versed in dealing with that set of tactics.

Its be nice if he would show a scrap of application too.

Sturridge came on and gave a **** for once and it was night and day.

Indeed, Needing to win all 3 remaining games whilst Spurs needed a single point from their 3. nailedon#

I have had my suspicions for a while, given the constant baiting of Tobes and Diego but this post may have given the game away.

I thought A87 on the Arsenal board was the ultimate WUM account but I have to congratulate HIAG on this one. Well played sir :)

As charismatic as klopp can be sometimes, hes bordering mourinho levels of sadness when hes just had a go at the wind and your pitch for being too dry after 15 minutes for how **** you have been at anfield.

How about getting an actual left back, some wingers and some pace in your team. Oh and dont play lucas, can and wijnaldum together if you need to break a defence down

Cracking up, it's sad but many of these managers that think they were great in a weaker league find the pressure too much in the big league <ok>

(not the first time he has blame the wind either)

It's more a case of who can we play tbh.....our squad is so thin, we're scraping a team together....I think if we look back, everyone would agree that not buying in January was a mistake....hopefully Lallana will get 70 versus West Ham next week.

Diego, how did you find your incredible unbeaten run for over 6 months in the Premier league?
Really catapulted you up the standings didn't it. A proper Mourinho masterclass to go on about being unbeaten, but to actually go backwards whilst doing it.

Like most, I found it quite disappointing in actual gains <ok>
Just think though, if you had been unbeaten a couple more times you wouldn't be needing to worry about us and Arsenal now :emoticon-0100-smile

Just think. If Mourinho had tried to win 2 or 3 more games rather than play for the draw you wouldn't have to worry about us either.... as you'd be challenging Spurs for 2nd <whistle>

Blaming the pitch for a home game isn't great.

Is it our groundsman that you're gonna buy this year? <yikes>

He could go 343/352 with moreno so he doesn't have to defend. He could try TAA on the left and put milner back into the middle.

He could put origi on the wing which i thought he was doing alright their last year seeing he always wants to drift and put firmino or sturridge in the middle.

Woodburn and ojo or even grujic could get more chances?

My criticism was more his poor choice of excuse to use. For your sake i hope hes learnt his lesson about the quality of his squad and actually uses the transfer windows

The odd few times he's played 3 at the back have been disasters this season. He's reluctant to move Origi wide. A few on here, myself included would like to see him and Firminho switched.....but he must have his reasons.

You're right though, I do hope everyone at the club has learnt about squad depth. If you're going to include the kids in your numbers, you need to be prepared to use them when necessary.
