Arsenal's last game is against Everton which would ordinarily be difficult but it's obvious from their last 3 games the players have downed tools against Koeman

 

If they beat Southampton and Stoke, Its theirs imo.

 

Yeah but stoke have been woeful.

If Southampton can at least have the manners to do the same to them then I would be happy.

However.... if utd lose say... and say arsenal draw both... well then 3 points will do us.

Season over before last day.

Ideally next Sunday we are celebrating but... well... I don't know if West ham players would think a win = top half for them and be really in it.... who knows.

 

Even more so if the win would mean they get top 4 over us.

 

They'd still have two to play and need us to drop points.

We all know the level everton put in v Swansea but we can shame them into trying a leg locally.

Can't see them dropping points v sunderland though.

 

One thing we've noticed is that teams who are safe keep fighting. Pride but also better ranking means millions for the club.

We should do our job and win both. We couldn't have asked for a better run in. And we will do it. We drop points by drawing or losing, the permutations are endless...

 

Everton will roll over for them if they can overtake us. Sunderland are useless.
We won't be taking 6 points in our last 2 games.

 

I cannot believe that they would deliberately not try though

 

We can but hope. As I said by the time we play they could be just about out of it.

 

I guess you thought the same a few years ago when Everton were in good form and were hosting Man city who were fighting us for the title.

 

That's the problem when we rely on others. The best way is to do it ourselves and win our last 2 matches, hardly an impossible task. We've been given another window. Let's just not mess it up.

For our current team and way we are playing I would say it is near impossible. It will be another abject performance against West Ham, who will lump it up top and be a massive threat from corners and free kicks, they get 1 and it all goes to sh!t for us.

 

How many, excluding the choke

 

Sure Koeman will make sure Klopps flock don't benefit from a full strength performance against Arsenal.

 

If we drop more points we'll let in Arsenal and even the mancs who have to beat Spurs to have any chance.

 

we will beat WHam as they will come out to play being at home so we will be able to exploit the space left.
i'm more worried bout Boro tbh

 

If they lose to Chavs tomorrow Boro are relegated, so they might feel they have nothing to lose and try and win the game, or just have a go.

 

thats my worry.Just think of the number of teams over the years who have suddenly started playing like a CL team once the pressure is off

 

We play better against those teams. Its the negative ones who come for a 0-0 we struggle against.
