United will stomp Arsenal now seeing that we've just blown our chances. Klopp took far too long to bring on Lallana and Sturridge, but even then, we still had no pace on the pitch. Skill and one touch will get you so far, but pace is so important and we've got none.
We seriously need to address this Mane effect. Can't have a team that are this average when one player is missing
Would disagree. We desperately need pace and I think another Mane type player is a must. Losing (getting rid of) Sturridge this summer will leave us light up top too, so another striker is needed, and again with pace. A midfielder is also a must, as we are light and shocking in midfield. Then there is defence, where we clearly need an actual LB and another CB. 5 top quality players at least needed this summer.
And yet people that are 'negative' expected this It really isn't that we are negative it is just we watch our team and see the pattern Some of the stuff that is written before is just daft. That said we need to get something from the next game at West Ham, oddly I don't think our position has actually changed We win the next two games and we have to have a real chance - the big problem is I genuinely see us drawing both
If we need 5 then we will not improve next season as they will need time to gel. I am saying get 2-3 top quality - bring them In Season after another 2-3.
Thats pretty much what we did last summer, and look how light we are. Then factor in the possibility than at least one of the 3 will flop and at least one will be consistantly injured.
Nah - we didn't bring top top quality Only Mane really But have we done better in the league Stats would say so With another 3 and a bit luckier on injuries which both chelsea and Leicester have had very little in terms of injuries although I think Chelsea could have coped - Leicester prob not so much

Same issues, same limitations. We don't have a midfield that can create or play quick enough. Full backs who can't attack and provide an outlet. And attackers who dont have rapid acceleration to create a half a yard of space in tight areas. These issues aren't new and we can forgive the players for producing the same result. What I can't forgive is Klopp trying the same thing again and again. Origi down the middle and Firmino out wide. Refusing to use Moreno instead of Milner. Just simple changes to try and refresh things
For once - but they had nothing to do ... Coutinho and Firmino only had 1 touch in their box ... sums our attack up today.
