Silva leaving won't prove he's a mercenary, it will just prove he's a very good manager who did the best he could during the term of his contract.
Silva did his best against all the odds, he will have failed to keep us up, unless we get the most unlikely results over the next 2 games, but he didn't fail anything else as far as I & most others are concerned.
I just mean technically he came in to save us and failed Not saying he hasn't done a spectacular job Seems clement has outdone silva
Disagree. We had enough quality on the pitch yesterday to win that game comfortably. The problem was the players decided to go into hiding - there was a marked difference between our home performance against Middlesbrough versus our home performance versus Sunderland. In fact any recent home performance. The players played like victory was going to be a foregone conclusion. The manager insisted the players would have the right mindset not to be so blasé.
well it didn't help that niasse was saying his only worry was by what scoreline we'd beat them and then he played like utter ****.. disgraceful performance
No players hid. There was no lack of passion. It was just a lack of quality, execution, and enough skill to break a team down under pressure.
Not sure which category N Diayes miss falls under, nerves or lack of ability or just complete ****ing embarrassment
If Swansea win Saturday, palace are right in it. The pressure yesterday will feel nothing compared to Sunday
Whoever comes in has an almighty challenge ahead of them. Not only will they have a tiny squad, but we're likely to lose Eldin, Robertson, Harry, Grosicki, Clucas and Huddlestone. The new manager needs to be in place quickly as there's a full squad to purchase
there is only 1 scenario where we go down if we beat palace and spurs and that is palace beating man united.. swansea can finish on 41 - 4 points 39 3 points 38 we can finish on 40 - palace can finish on 44 but us beating them keeps em on 38 and anything but a win against man utd would relegate them palace and spurs.. can we honestly do it though?
in terms of their defence, it's in shambles at the moment. they are there for the taking.. but can we take them to the sword i can see sunderland getting at least a point v swans.. we can still stay up but we need to win both of our last games instead of just 4 points pretty much
I hope so because I'm going , by next Saturday I'll be convinced we are going to win , just hard to think positive right now after yesterday's kick in the bollocks
