Specs, keys, wallets tools, pens, single gloves and socks all take the ****ing piss as young older. They hide on purpose and then jump to the first place you looked for them.

I've done Yorkshire 3 peaks and coming down was always harder then going up.

When doing some research on national 3 peaks I came across the pure 3 peaks. Which is the national 3 but you cycle between peaks. You must be mental to try that.

When you did 3 peaks was it an organised one or did you just do it yourself. When looking the organised ones seem quite expensive

I did it last year and was when I realised I was getting old. Pulled my groin on the first peak (Penyghent) so every step afterwards was agony. I'd have pulled out but I know my daughter would have done the same, so had to carry on. We said we'd do a charity challenge every year after that. She seems to have forgotten and I aren't going to remind her.

It was an organised event for charity, in that there were time keepers etc, but I don't remember it costing much. We drove ourselves and arranged everything ourselves including accommodation, just logged in at the start and finish of each mountain.
We started discussing it and aiming to do it in 24 hours which was a bronze medal I think, with 10 hours driving. And then the rules changed for the driving having to take 11 hours ( there's a minimum time driving between so you can't speed to make it easier, so regardless of when you get there you can't set off until the driving time they allow, if you get there later it's tough that time counts)
We ended up stupidly going for a gold which I think was under 20 hours
Actually looking back we must have done it in 19-45...I must have mentally taken the hour off they made us drive extra!

Saying you feel old because you only just managed to go up and down three mountains sounds like a humblebrag.

    (ElTigre is envious really)

I really don't understand ear hair. Why? Why when you get older? It makes no ****ing sense, none at all.
What do you need it for?

I've just been bought a bottle of Gin with spicy Indian flavours.
    It looks quite expensive.
Have you 2 Gin experts tried it before.
