Do still plummet further. This season one of Forest, Bburn or Brum will drop from the championship. Never to big to drop as safc and man city know.
I want them to go cos they ****ed Rowett off when he was doing a great job and brought Zola in Want them even to go even more now old saggy chops is there.
How big are we though, in reality? We have 3 top ten finishes in over 60 years. 2 of them were in the Peter Reid days. Same with Newcastle, won absolutely **** all for over 60 years. We both think we are big clubs because we have decent histories. We used to be big football clubs but we are both just average, run of the mill football clubs now.
Yeah Venkys have ruined that club. Looks like we'll be taken over by a Chinese group soon... could go either way
A lot of truth there, still got huge support and like you say decent history etc. Wouldn't say you're 'average, run of the mill' though. I'd say that's a group we're in along with another 25 clubs or so. I'd put both of you in a tier above that tbh.
Nah Markus was, his daughter not so much. Agree we've been a very well run club these past 8 years though. This takeover could undo all that, or it could give us funds to push onto the next level.
I hate Saggy chops and always hated Birmingham! Perfect match for eachother! Gutted they won last time out and with 10 men. Twats!
I'd say we're a big club because we've just had 10 seasons in the top flight of one of the best leagues in the world, if you made a list of every side in England then relatively speaking we're much bigger than the vast majority of them. Same for any club that's recently had a presence in the premier league.
Not sure that counts for too much mate. We spent 27 years consecutively in top flight until we went down in 2005. And we've had 3 top 8 finishes since coming back in 2012... would you consider Saints a big club? I'm playing devils advocate btw... I'd definitely say you're a bigger club than us, just questioning your reasoning...
Saints are absolutely a big club, anyone who can stay in the top league of their country is for me and you're doing it in style. I'm just trying to make the point that a bang average sized club wouldn't ever get anywhere near the premier league considering how many professional sides there are in England.
