Deep down we all knew City were capable of a result like this, even to the extent of a couple of posters betting on a Sunderland win, (personally I could never bet against my team but each to their own)...still feels like absolute ****e though Now we'll see what they're really made of, because no less than six points from the last two games will do.
I'm too ****ed off to have to start explaining it to you, and I'm not entering into a long winded debate about the moral dilemma of it. The end.
I'm just interested. I don't see a moral dilemma in the slightest, for me I'm delighted to lose a bet.
I don't care, I see it as a win-win. Your team wins, you're happy. Your team lose, you at least win some money to soften the blow.
Any of the old timers know the answer to this highly important question? Castroid, Blue Mountains Bairn, Der Alte ????? Have we ever beaten an already relegated side before?
Walking past betting kiosk on way to standing area I thought fk it , if city lose I will be gutted Stuck £5 on Sunderland to win 2 - 0 Bloke wrote it out , stuck slip in pocket It was only after final whistle I saw 2 - 0 was 33/1 Winning the bet didn't cheer me up one bit Doh :-(
Junior won a few quid betting on Sunderland yesterday, he also lumped on at 2\1 for us to be relegated, he was firmly of the opinion that we blew it at Southampton.
I'm not a player on the pitch but as it's my team I couldn't bet against them as I'm part of the team. Sorry I think it's a ****ing disgrace. Anyone who wins money betting against his own team at the least should give it to charity. It's blood money.
I did Sunlan win or draw at 7/2 and then put all those winnings on Swansea to beat Everton. Next week I'll be putting it all on Swansea to win or draw at Sunlan.
