Poch is one of the top two mangers in the league (possibly world), so....y'know. It's not right to judge CP against him.
Yeah, this. It's almost like people wait for a game to tie in with a supposition then bellow "SEE I TOLD YOU SO".
How well did we play against Liverpool in the 0-0 and how exciting was it? Did we have a shot? I agree. A game doesn't have to be end to end or lots of chances or lots of goals to be a good game.
Hell yeah. It's wrong to draw any conclusions from 90 minutes. If Tadic hit his perfectly adequate penalty the other way then none of the flapping last week would have happened.
Tadic lacks the power of Rickie, but we have to give credit to the keeper. Be interesting to see if he has the confidence to take one of the three we get today.
Good point. It has taken some time for fans of other clubs to realise that my total sense of being pissed off when Poch left was because he is a superb coach. Koeman was a grumpy twat, but Poch is a great manager. I genuinely hope he buggers off soon back to Spain and leaves Spurs to sink back to being mediocre!
Umm what? You can't say that about a guy who's never won anything! Very good coach for sure, still plenty of learning to do yet though, and it's ridiculous to say he's better than one of Mourinho/Conte.
Ridiculous? Because he hasn't won anything? Stick him in charge of Chelsea/Real/Inter/United and you don't think he'd have won as much as Mourinho? Do you think Mourinho would have done better with Saints and Spurs? I absolutely 100% do not. Conte is a different story because he's massively improved Chelsea (in the same way that Poch has massively improved Spurs). He's the second option in my 'top two'. Ask a United fan who they'd prefer to have in charge.
I quite like Klopp when he's being laid-back and humorous, but angry-face Klopp is more than a little disturbing.
As for Leicester, easy to do it when 2-0 up in last ten minutes... but when it's under pressure like last week, or Inter at home when 1-0 down or even Burnley away in Rons 1st season, it's generally a weak side footed effort. He's a poor penalty taker, I believe his conversion rate for us is approx 60%... let someone else have a go.
Yes I think it is ridiculous to suggest a manager who hasn't won anything is amongst the best in the country/Europe. No I don't think he would have won what Jose has at Inter/Porto etc. You don't think Jose would have got our 13/14 team to 7th/8th? I do. His plan A is exceptional but still doesn't really have a plan B and therefore is tactically not as good as Mourino YET. Also he doesn't like cup competitions enough to win two CL's Also don't know how I forgot Klopp ... I'd rate him higher too. Must stress again that I'm talking about the here and now. He is a very bright young manager who looks set to reach the top. He's not there yet though.
Talking about the here and now (and last season), he's about performed Mourinho two seasons in a row and on a lower budget. And Klopp
