So this thread is back again with a load of new posts? Has anything at all happened over the course of the season? As I haven't kept up since the summer. I do hope they're in the process of ****ing the **** off.
There you go again, always bringing it back to on-pitch matters. For me, some things are far, far more important.
I thought Fish overseeing the Bradford debacle was arguably the worst day in our club's history. For me much worse than losing to Hednesford and Kettering. Losing at Donny under Hateley was THE lowpoint on the pitch. Fish flogging the railway name plate and installing a snide plaggy version epitomised those running the club at the time. Secretive, inept, duplicitous, deceitful, shallow and bungling

For me much worse than losing to Hednesford and Kettering. Losing at Donny under Hateley was THE lowpoint on the pitch. Fish flogging the railway name plate and installing a snide plaggy version epitomised those running the club at the time. Secretive, inept, duplicitous, deceitful, shallow and bungling[/QUOTE] Spot on. On top of this, people forget what a big rivalry we had with Bradford in the 80s and 90s - relegating them in 1990 was sweet but what happened 1996 was the football equivalent of surrender and occupation.
To Fish and Calam, it was just moving spectatators from A to B. 'What's the problem?' They reaped the whirlwind that day. Just wish we'd one more pitch invasion as Uriah Rennie said he would have abandoned it had that happened.
" Some fans, let's call them that, will soon shut up when they see the quality of football on offer." Martin Fish, August 1996. Then we played Scunthorpe United. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Rumour is we're buying the statue of the Siliwangi military mascot. Spoiler MILITARY bases in the Indonesian regions of West Java and Banten have been ordered to destroy tiger statues that do not resemble its official tiger logo, after a photo from a base in Cisewu drew widespread lampooning online. Last week the #MacanCisewu hashtag, meaning Cisewu tiger, went viral as Indonesian netizens poked fun. Cheers stato. I'll consider checking with you before posting. On your part, can you promote every reply for those of us that don't read everything on here? Ta chucky egg.
Just hearing on RH, that about 6 volunteers who stay behind after the game and stamp in divots (done it since Boothferry days) in return for a free ticket have been sacked tonight... !!!... for 6 tickets !!!! you ****ing scab Allam.
WTF?!?!? We've had the big flamethrowers by the players tunnel, we've had some black and amber streamers at the front of the Best stand, how can you say this club doesn't know how to put on a game?
Sunderland, Blackburn, Coventry, Orient. One club per division relegated with incompetent, malevolent owners. Over to you, Ehab... #hcafc Matt Rudd
Hitting nail firmly on the head here. Daft thing is AA could still make money from City, and flog it and make more, but he would have had to eat humble pie, which he would never / will never do. Twat.
Fish had no choice. The idiot Callum said the police would refuse to cover the match if City didn't go along with it. That would have had severe repercussions for the club. Millwall soon came into line when given a similar ultimatum not so long ago.Agree with the points about the name plate. On the pitch for me losing to a non league club for the first time was a low point. Stopped the riposte to fans of other clubs that at least we had never lost to a non league club... Though watching us play Whitby at Scarborough and thinking that a neutral would difficulty working out which was the full time professional league outfit and which was the part time non league outfit several rungs below them ran it close. .
He never had to eat humble pie, all he had to do was accept the decision and stop being a ****ing tool.
