Liverpool and Manchester City can catch Spurs if they lose their next three matches. Spurs may well have something to play for when they come to the KC.
Guaranteed to break the ice at parties eh Obadiah ? If they lose their next 3 matches one of 'em would be against City no ?
Since when do we win games against teams with nothing to play for anyway? Even when B teams get sent out we don't win.
Precisely. They lose two matches and turn up at the KC with Manchester City and Liverpool breathing down their necks knowing a third loss will put them in third or fourth. I don't think West Ham's win is worth celebrating. I'd rather Spurs had won and gone into our match 4 points away from the title but save in second place. Now they have two games to get over their disappointment before coming to the KC.
If they lose their next 2 games, as you suggested, it's likely they will never get over their disappointment of losing 3 in a row. They'll still be in the Champions League even if they end up 4th. With such a goal difference Man Utd will never catch them, and the cash rewards between 2nd & 4th is insignificant in the scheme of things. Tonight 's loss is to City's advantage I believe, as Spurs should get at least 1 point in their games against Leicester & Man Utd.
Is anybody else really ****ed up tonight? We'll win i think and Swansea will lose. I'm right aren't I?
This is bang on.imagine us in a couple of years if silva got the backing Steve bruce got.id just have to get a pass if he stays.however it would be so much better if adam was running the club.
2 things about this game: West Ham won't probably go after Marco Our chances of getting points against Spurs, if they have nothing to loose or win just, goes from 15% to 40% (personal point of view)
Good points...nowt like an injury in the last game of the season to screw up the summer. I'll raise you to 60%
