Apparently that stretch of road holds some form of record for the number of names in the shortest distance. Clive Sullivan Way. Hessle Road. Mytongate Roundabout. Castle Street. Myron Bridge. Citadel Way. Hedon Road. All within just over a mile.
The new seating area outside Ambiente looks decent, though I think the food in there's terrible... please log in to view this image
Took the missus for a meal (actually, I tool her to Butler Whites, but we couldn't get in) and the food was dreadful.
The houses are going on either side of blanket row. It's a shame that a car park is being built on that patch of land, it'd be a great location for a symbolic office building or hotel. On the other hand if they're trying to promote the marina as a destination then people need somewhere to park, especially as the amount on street parking will reduce I imagine once the houses are built. Perhaps a necessary evil. Such a shame we don't have a metro system or something like, would make getting into the city centre and back home so much easier all times of day. Re Ambiente I'm going tonight so will see what it's like - I've only heard good reports up until now!
Is the ambition for retail in Hull really to achieve parity with a city a fraction of its size? http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/we-w...pers-in-hull/story-30312744-detail/story.html
I wish. However I'm not even talking in terms of what a diner would class as expensive, I mean in terms of comparisons against any other city centre restaurant.
I agree with them... Worried residents say The Deep location for Hull's cruise terminal is the wrong place please log in to view this image http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/worr...0313078-detail/story.html#w18IjSOUS1yD4rYJ.99
Not if you order enough you wouldn't We normally go for 3 dishes each then share them, and get a side like a flatbread or something too. That's normally plenty (I haven't been to Ambiente though)
