I don't think we'll be seeing Rose until next season. Maybe on the bench. Such a shame but Davies has stepped up to the plate and overcame a shaky first few games in the wing-back role to really stamp his authority on the position.
Looks like Toby's contract negotiations have stalled again because he wants the same pay as Kane and too bloody right - he deserves it. Best CB in the PL and the club are ****ing around. Is tight wad Levy seriously going to **** this one up? He'd better not! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...r-Toby-Alderweireld-demands-110-000-week.html
The problem is that we can't pay everyone at the same level or at the ridiculous levels that others do. Liverpool can pay Loveren that because they earn £100m more than us every year. If we doubled everyone's salary we'd need to double our income to afford it. If we pay Toby Alderweireld £110k per week, then Christian Eriksen has to get more, as does Jan and Eric Dier and.....and.....and....Then Harry Kane asks why he isn't top earner at the club. The only option is for ENIC to bring in additional investment ahead of the increase of income the new stadium will bring.
Press conference will be up soon. Plenty press plank-ton trying to get a Narrative (TM) on Kyle Walker. Pochettino if he was me had would have taken a gifted opportunity to utterly destroy one of them with a reply.
"It's important that the fans know that the players are calm and we will see at the end of the season whether the rumours are true or not." Bearing in mind Poch's new tack on dealing with these rumours (see recent referral to DL...) I would interpret these comments to be a confident prediction for the future. Don't reckon he thinks anyone is leaving too soon!
Seems to take Martin Tyler by surprise as well. Was crossing the goalline before he realised it was going in.
"Neuer comes out brilliantly...", "Neuer does well"? Given that he basically got an assist, maybe not, eh?
Interesting watching the League Two scores on the final day. A team scores and jumps two or three places into the playoff positions. Another team scores and jumps above them. A team equalises and they go back into one of the places. It's so tight with seven teams vying for two places.
Good to see the Portsmouth fans having something to cheer about at long last. I think they average crowds of 17000 in that division.
It's hard not to see parallels between Hartlepool and Sunderland: both clubs had been flirting with the drop for several seasons, hanging on by the skin of their teeth one season only to be right back there the next, and eventually they couldn't keep their heads above water.
Anderlecht posted this to celebrate Youri Tielemans' 20th birthday ...so the challenge to our social media team is to top that!
How come the Ireland cricket team's shirt sponsors are Turkish Airlines? Seems an unlikely combination
Both countries led by despotic Presidents....... Trust me, he's a feckin' evil bastard when he gets going!!
I know it's from the Fail, but the only word that works on this one is '****!!!' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ge-reveals-came-close-dying-Spurs-injury.html I remember the incident and the repercussions and imagined that he had picked up some sort of infection. Weird, but frightening!
If the HK date was July 26, then I would be angry. Is there not a trip to the USA planned this summer too ??
I fully expect many players to go down with grain strains after the Hull match. Who the eff wants to go to Hong Kong at the end of a very long season. Ridiculous.
