    Beat me to it :)

It always amazes me that when they re-released the original 1977 film in 1997 I think they released it on May 2nd completely missing a marketing opportunity.

Probably a Friday. There'll be a statistic somewhere saying that's the best dayto release a film.... or something. Two days later would have been better, I agree.

A quick google shows you are correct, it was a Friday :)

The original was released on May 25th 1977...21 days too late too :)

Just heard that Peter Kay isn't doing another series or Xmas special of Car Share. He can't leave it there....it is begging for a Xmas special. He's blown it with Kayleigh, she's walked off, but she is in his Xmas team. I want a referendum.<wah>

Never saw one. Thought he was excellent in '...Cradle to Grave' though.

Yeah. They realised Danny's first book excellently. Loads of highlights, including his French teacher.! For me, the funniest moments though were when the young Danny was amongst his mates. The ladder against the bank window with the wallet ending up inside was so typical of young teenager mischief stuff. I laughed out loud several times.

Interesting. The ECJ has ruled that receiving a stream is not illegal, as long as you're not making a copy. FACT's language is always vague - it seems to me that they always try to imply that receiving streams is illegal without actually saying so.

For those who like a touch of the bizarre, and if you loved the book (or even haven't read it), the first episode of American Gods is AMAZING.

I watched it and had absolutely NO IDEA what was going on. I was cooking at the same time so not giving it my full attention, but I got the impression that I wouldn't have had a clue even if I was studying it and making notes.
