It seems that £70k a week thing wasn't true, a recent article in Italy with all Inter's player wages claim it's actually €43k a week.
What's that then - about £30k a week? That seems preposterously low considering some of the other players wages, such as Icardi, Perisic and Candreva.

Would make more sense then. So here for him to get £36k a week net we would have to pay him over £70k, right? Cant believe some on that list - Jovetic and Melo on that much whereas Brozovic is ridiculously low
It wouldn't be that high, they're not just PAYE employees, there's all sorts of image rights etc to reduce the tax burden.

He certainly did get grief from Inter fans, if that's what he meant. But that was well before signing for us.
