Liverpool are resigned to losing Brazil forward Philippe Coutinho, 24, this summer and want to bring in 25-year-old Real Madrid and Spain midfielder Isco, 25.(Don Balon, in Spanish)
It's from your boy's favourite (perhaps only) source ... the BBC Gossip Column ... so I guess you'll be happy to acceopt that at face value? ... perhaps I''ll even get a 'like'
In all fairness that would be an excellent trade for you. Isco is the real deal. Coutinho still has a few question marks regarding his fitness for me.
Isco's probably a bit too robust for the typical Liverpool mould under Flip-Flop ... they tend to go for hairdresser's models or sicknotes .. could see them going for Lamela from the Spuds or Lanzini from the Hammers ... more like the markets they move in these days
Serious question for you Sky, you think Couts is all that? Good little player but the whole barca thing is overhype for me. He isn't that good IMHO.
Things seem to have gone quieter - plus he signed a new 4 year deal with no release clause at the start of the season ... price might therefore be off putting for some suitors as I doubt we would sell wiillingly (or cheaply). Kasper would be the most likely... if you believe the press ...and I could see him going to United in fairness... great shot stopper but not as big as his dad and susceptible to long range shots into the top corners as a result ... but been outstanding for 2 seasons now.
He said hairdressers and models, not players that tool down to get rid of the gaffer. Then again...if the Goons want Wenger gone I think they should buy those two and they are well on the way of getting rid.
Blah, blah, yawn, yawn ... Mahrez was excellent in Europe but has found it a lot tougher domestically where teams have doubled and sometimes trebled up on him ... but still great to watch when he weaves his magic ... definitely up there with the best dribblers in the Prem and a joy to watch when he's on song
Yeah, the Schmeichel transfer wouldn't surprise anyone, in the event that De Gea goes. Might just be everyone making assumptions though, of course. I can't see Mahrez staying in the summer, honestly. There'll be clubs offering him European football and probably more money, too. Do you expect him to stay?
Really not sure ... he has two very young kids and has brought his exytended family with him now to Leicestershire and seems quite settled on the domestic front ... he's also currently earning double what Kyle Walker is on and has his big buddy Slimani here too ... so there are a few things that might mean he's content to stay another season... the owners are promising sizeable transfer funds for a tilt at getting into Europe again next season to boot ... ... but money talks and therefore nobody is immune from having their heads turned ... PS Only using Walker as an example to demonstrate that money (wages) are unlikely to be a factor for a Leicester player these days
Most of the reports that I've seen seem to suggest he's on £55k pw. That's slightly less than Kyle Walker's supposed salary at the moment, by all accounts.
Both Vardy and Mahrez got new contracts at the start of the season on 6 figs per week - both were the subject of offers ... Kante was offered the same ... but obviously Chelsea could match that and more ...
Yes he's world class. One of the stand out players in our league. Had an unlucky season with injuries but still had a better season than most 10's even with his long injury. He makes our team tick, drops deep picks up the ball and gets things going. He's the highest scoring Brazilian to ever grace the PL. He's a 100mil player, no doubt.
That's high praise there mate As an honorary scouser I haven't heard any of my scouse mates rate him that high. I personally think he has a long way to go to get anywhere near that.
