Brilliant. Just listened to it. Enrique must have been so confused... He drove past the training ground and the bloke had to go and get him and tell Enrique he had drove past the training ground!
Lucky guy to meet a new signing straight away. The amount of people who meet these footballers makes them seem like normal people - They're not! I honestly can't imagine seeing/talking to the players in the flesh
Something similar happened to Veron. He got lost on his way to the theatre of debt, and someone sent him to Anfield.
I've only ever met two people who are known in football... El Hadji Diouf and Roy Hodgson. It was at a Fulham Vs Sunderland game (Uncle got me some Sunderland tickets)... ElHadji Diouf completely ignored everybody who asked for something to be signed (I think it's because he's a ****ing prick) and I met Hodgson at the same game. Proper nice bloke and was happy to speak to you. When he became our manager, I thought he would do well. Shame it didn't work out for him. It does feel weird when you met them! You see them on the telly and you never think you would speak to them! Wouldn't mind meeting some of our players!
If he would have driven half a mile further past Melwood he'd have ended up in Canny Farm or Page Moss,im sure hed have felt safe and very much at home here. And his car would've been safe as houses.
