This is why I think Origi is better out wide because he will have more opportunity to use his pace, and he can beat a man (it may take a while but he does have a knack of doing it). Firmino central is a different beast. Lucas has actually done ok in DM but I would prefer Can Gini and Lallana midfield. Gives us better balance.
I think most of us are on the same page. Klopp clearly does not like Origi in that wide role or I'm sure he'd have done it. Perhaps his covering and closing down in those positions leave a lot to be desired?

I think he's better coming off the bench, against tired legs. He showed a lot more quality in his 10 min cameo than Origi has in a while. He actually pressed and won the ball, dribbled into the box and managed to get a shot away.
I think if teams are sitting deep then origi doesn't offer much. He needs to work on his game to be able to play against those defences. Only time he looked good was when Watford allowed him space to run in behind. Just wonder if sturridge quick feet will be better in those in those tight areas when defence is packed and origi would be better coming on against tires legs to use his pace and exploit the extra space.

I'd have money on him starting with him on Sunday. Origi isn't good enough to play the central striker role imo.
