No idea who this lot where when they arrived. I do now and whatever happens in the next three games they are legends in my book. Just to be still in with a chance of staying up is unimaginable given where we were on Jan 2nd. And with due respect to the original poster (maybe not on this forum) "You're not getting in here without a tie" was and remains quote of the year for me.
Once again, we're (hopefully) watching history being made. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_League–Football_League_gulf#Curse_of_Christmas The Curse of Christmas refers to a trend where the team at the bottom of the Premier League table at Christmas has been relegated at the end of the season.[7] Since the league began, this has happened in every season except three: 2004–05, when West Bromwich Albion finished 17th, Sunderland, who avoided the drop in 2013–14 and Leicester City who survived in the 2014–15 season after having also been bottom of the table at Christmas. West Brom were, in fact, still bottom of the table on the morning of the last day of the season (and even at half time in the final match), but a win over Portsmouth, coupled with defeats for Norwich City and Southampton and a draw for Crystal Palace, enabled them to move up three places and thus survive, an achievement since dubbed 'The Great Escape'. West Brom remain the only team to be bottom of the Premier League both at Christmas and on the last day and still survive. Neither did Howard Wilki son when he won the title. Not sure Arsenal's managers can be classed with great charisma either.
If City stay up it'll be the third time it has been achieved in the last four seasons, in fact. Sounds like the norm.
Not much of a curse either if it's been avoided a few times. Not I'm trying to diminish anything IF we get out of this (let's not tempt fate here, there's still work to be done).
welcome, and cya marco. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...g-to-reports/story-30307023-detail/story.html
Don't know if it's been posted elsewhere, SSN reporting; Hull head coach Marco Silva has contract until the end of next season, but release clause exists should Hull be relegated.
Well lets hope he keeps us up, does a Lesta, gets us into Europe (if not winning the Premiership) and signs a new contract after that... snaps fingers and wakes up...
Not by me Pete !. But well done on your information. Can only think it's good news. Next bit's hard to type. Well done eeyore
