If he can get 14 goals playing with that shower of ****, imagine what he could do in a side coached by Marco Silva for a full season.

Ridiculous to think Defoe was seemingly finished when he went to Canada.

regardless of whether sunderland play without pressure/playing for pride
they have 21 points.. they are a poor team and if we don't beat them then we have only ourselves to blame

Looking forward to this enormously. The last football match I will come from Aus. to watch.

Have missed all previous encounters between them having followed the fortunes of Sunderland since I was a young kid.
Always dreamed of watching City play them in the top tier so a fitting occasion for me.

Didn't realise a near 80 year old could be so excited!

The worst time to play them all season.

The typical city curse cares not for the manager in charge.

    It's a loss.

And this is why the Allams have worked so hard to get rid of the old negative fan base of this great club.

We're a good side and we've been pl three times in their ownership. We're not some bag of **** in the third or fourth division scrapping it out with torkey and macclesfield like we once were.

The positive is Swansea are playing them at the same terrible time. I'm utterly confident Sunlan won't lose either game.

Normally I'd be worried about playing a team whose just confirmed relegation with them now having no pressure but I think the players have known they're relegated for weeks and haven't felt any pressure all season but after saying that they looked like they had a good game at the weekend and we can't just expect to turn up and beat them

It is all about us, if we get at it from the start and get a goal then I think they will mentally give up. If we allow them to get a foot hold in the game, then it could be a difficult afternoon.
